It’s an amazing location, and was the best stay of our holiday. The staff, the room, the food, the views…. everything was top notch. We loved it, and if we’re in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Views were amazing. Friendly staff. Good food. Very clean and comfortable rooms. A couple of improvements needed but would definately go again.
Heatherbank Guest House looks down on Strontian and Loch Sunart, and is situated 30 km from Fort William. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV.
It’s a truly cosy cabin located beautifully. There was some midges, but not to bad. We hadn’t fully realised the bedsize and found the bed a bit on the small side for 2 adults, but that’s just us. Great to Wall around the Viaduct and it is really a piece of history to go see the Glenfinnan monument. Fort William is also lovely to visit. All in all a great place to stay!
Lovely location. Only 2 minutes walk to a train station and museum which was also on a walking off road route to the Glenfinnan viaduct to see the Jacobite steam train crossing. Glenfinnan monument and Loch Spiel (Black Lake in the Harry Potter series). Also the film location of Dumbledore’s resting place is only 15 drive away over to the next loch. So this is an ideal location for Harry Potter fans.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the evening meal was lovely too. Room facilities were excellent with its own coffee making machine.
The location is superb, right on the shore of loch shiel and a walk away from Glenfinnan monument and the famous viaduct. Spacious and comfortable on the inside. Loved the bed. Loved the shower (although only enough hot water for one shower so best to take advantage of the size and shower together!)
Exceptional breakfast! Food was excellent, the best scrambled eggs that I ever taste! Kieron and Ina are such a nice people!!! Can I give them six stars? The hotel has an amazing location (five walking minutes to Loch Shield, fifteen minutes walking to Glenfinnan Viaduct and Glenfinnan Monument, and two minuts walking to the train station)
The cabin is cosy, warm and has breath taking views of the Loch. It is only a 5 minute walk from the Glenfinnan monument and visitor centre. We loved it.
