I couldn’t fault the staff at this venue. I was staying by for work and arrived late after work. They managed to get me a table, without hesitation, for some food even though it was the Saturday before Christmas. They were super attentive, the food was insane and I couldn’t fault the service. They even made me the most perfect breakfast bag to take away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Peat Inn. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, as were the staff. Probably the best nights sleep, and a very comfortable matress, we have ever had! Breakfast served in our room was a nice touch too.

We didn't have breakfast but everything was fab. The staff were very friendly the hotel is beautiful and the room was stunning. The only 1 issue we had was the room was far too hot even with the window open and a fan on. Other than that it was perfect.

What a lovely Hotel. The Covenanter is warm, welcoming, people so friendly. A clean and cosy place, food wonderful and the place itself is magical. Facilities, toiletries etc available, plenty to see with lovely, quaint shops, tea tooms; Forties Vintage shop was amazing. Falkland Palace history, this wonderful place has everything but the people make it extra special.
Excellent breakfast choices, great variety of teas and coffee and lovely touches with the wine and chocolate. We loved the location, the view of Falkland Palace is amazing. We also spent some time in the beautiful garden on this trip. Perfect to relax in and on the swing!
The location is fabulous being in the centre of the village and across the road from Falkland Palace. The village is very quaint and the hotel is an old historic building and very characterful. Our room was very comfortable with an en suite bathroom with powerful shower. We had views across to the Bruce memorial statue and Falkland Palace. Breakfast was served downstairs and was very good. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s right next to Falkland palace and the Falkland estate is just round the corner. Friendly hosts, generous breakfast and a big comfortable bed.
We wanted to find somewhere close to Falkland Palace, the Maspie was perfect for that. We were welcomed on arrival by John who provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. The breakfast was well presented and sufficient for our needs. If you want a comfortable stay in a unique property with an attractive garden and lovely hosts then we feel you will not be disappointed.
