We loved the Woodside. The big, comfy room with a big bed and free mini-bar-snacks and drinks and many amenities. Great restaurant we ate both nights. Nice bar. Great breakfast. Free parking on own parking. Close to Doune Castle. 15 Minutes drive from Stirling. Husband was happy with running options from hotel.
Cleanest hotel room I have ever seen in my entire life.
The staff was amazing, and caring, felt very welcome and at home.
Location is also superb, takes 15 min to Stirling castle, and 5 min to the amazing Doune Castle.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed.
We had breakfast and dinner in the Woodside and both were excellent.
The overall ambience and the friendly staff. We sat outside in the beer garden after checking in on a beautiful sunny day. Walked down to the small village of Doune and to Doune Castle. Our evening meal was fantastic as was our breakfast. The background music playing in the hotel was great and we had a lovely break. Our bedroom decor was beautiful with the nicest welcome tray I have ever had in any hotel. The room was spotless. Ample parking on site. Top marks to everyone
Friendly staff. A good selection of fresh food and drink, both for dinner and breakfast. Local walks around a historic location including Doune Castle and Deanston Distillery.
