The whole hotel is well presented and clean. Our room was huge and had the biggest bed we've ever seen, which was very comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station, and a bus route stops right in front of the hotel, so travelling into Edinburgh on public transport is very easy.

We spent a night in this place after arriving from the airport and before picking up a rental van to go to the Highlands. Because of a Taylor Swift concert, it was one of the cheapest options available but of course it is probably not the case at most times. The castle is very impressive and the location overall is quite scenic. Nice staff and breakfast in the sun.
