Mortons Manor, hotel in Swanage

This beautiful 16th-century manor house offers incredible views across the Dorset countryside from its terrace.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Had the toilet cistern block with limescale late evening prior to going to bed. staff very helpful and response excellent. Offered to change room but we got it going. Plumber replaced same next day. The breakfast was good but not the best. Bar prices a bit steep.

The Pines Hotel, hotel in Swanage

Stunning sea views are offered at this cliff-top hotel overlooking Swanage Bay. With private steps down to the sandy beach below, The Pines provides free parking and full English breakfasts.

Without exception every member of staff we had contact with from dining, bar, reception, were so very polite, with a genuine smile and only to pleased to help. Steps down to the sandy beach for swimming, or for walking into town along a concrete pathway passing beach huts. Also the hotel immediately opens onto the Coastal Path which leads firstly to Harry’s Rock. We spent four nights in a very relaxed environment. Thank you.

Excellent location. Very quiet and within walking distance to all facilities, including the beach, although a good 25 minute walk into Swanage, which was fine to and from once a day for an oldie like me and my equally old dogs! Easy access to Corfe Castle, Durston Country Park, Durdle Door and other attractions. We were very lucky with the weather, though, which makes a huge difference! Very comfortable and cosy cottage with the added bonus of a secure garden which was great for our small dogs.

Lovely part of the country. Easy walk into the town of Swanage. Once in Swanage we had plenty to do. The steam train to Corfe Castle is a must. Shower blocks were ok. Hot running water. (never saw anyone or any signs of cleaning).

This is a lovely quaint little house close to the centre of Swanage (about 10-15 min walk to the beach). It is tastefully decorated and furnished, and very comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you need for a short stay, the furnishings and kitchen equipment are first rate. Swanage is a great little town with coastal walks with beautiful views, and Corfe castle was also well worth a visit. We very much enjoyed our weekend.

Friendly, efficient, discreet and accommodating hosts. Extremely well stocked with 'starter' food and (at Easter) multiple treats for us and our seven-year-old. Equipment provided covered everything you could possibly need from air fryer to binoculars. And, most unusually of all, actual *hooks* in the bedrooms and bathroom to hang your clothes. Location is great for tourist sites in and around Swanage. The station for the Corfe Castle steam railway is 5 minutes walk away and you can hear the engine puffing its way along.

Amazing location, perched high above the beach with a panoramic views over stunning Swanage Bay. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. My mother had a wonderful massage at the spa. A 10-15 minute stroll into town . I will definitely return to this hotel as it is good value. Loads to see and do nearby Durlestone, Corfe Castle ( wear good walking shoes) and even an evening at the tiny Rex Cinema in Wareham

Sea Pink cottage is ideally located for walks along the Jurassic coast and is close to Corfe castle and Swanage. The local pub has a deli which is open during the day time and is very useful as there are no other amenities in the village. Staff at Dreams cottages were responsive and pucked up on issues quickly.
