Didn’t have breakfast as 50.00 for 2 seemed a little excessive and had a nice breakfast close to hotel for half the price.
The staff were very friendly professional and helpful particular the door men who helped with parking.
The room was huge for a city centre hotel and very comfortable with small details appreciated like Milton brown toiletries and Yorkshire shortbread fab bathroom too

Very clean and well located for walking into town. Everything appeared new and/or well maintained. A good size for two people. Owner very responsive.
Malton is a lovely little town and great base for a visit to Castle Howard.
We chose this place as it was about halfway between Flamingo Land and Castle Howard, so it was only a 15 min drive to each place. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. There was car parking on site. Our child’s bedroom was in a separate room within our suite. Bath was nice.
The location of the lodge was great with Malton town centre and Castle Howard really close by. The hot tub was a nice addition and the site itself was well looked after, clean and quiet. The showers were super powerful and we had never had a problem with running out of hot water. The towels supplied were soft and the lodge was overall quite clean.
Did not have breakfast. Ate in a nearby cafe.
The room was perfect for what we came for which was an overnight stay. Right in the market square. Parking available. Was able to walk around on the evening and go for a drink and a meal, then went to castle Howard the next day. Staff were so friendly and helpful and made the stay all the more special. Would love to go back.
Apartment was comfortable had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. In the centre of town but peaceful quiet location considering it is overlooking a car park. Close to lovely villages and Castle Howard is not to be missed.
Clean room. Bed comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful. Hotel had alot of historic charm and features. Good location for Castle Howard visit. Food good. Had free upgrade as originally booked in the annexe which would have been away from main building.
Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking for one car was ideal. Area was great Castle Howard, Eden camp and North York Moors railway near by. Malton itself great for eating out. All in All a great location.
