We toured Ireland for two weeks, resting every other night in a different B+Bs. StayLagom was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Although “Lagom” means something like “just right” in swedish as we found out, we felt like getting more than we paid for. The communication with the host was lagom - not intrusive nor repellent (as we experienced before). After we let ourselves in via electronic key lock we received a massage later that night asking if we settled in fine - just lagom for us. The size of the bed and its mattress was more than lagom. This was unfortunate, because we overslept and could not take advantage of the large kitchen area provided to the extent we would have liked due to the checkout time. The kitchen area provided (among others) fresh bred that actually tasted good - free use. The manor house was apparently freshly renovated. This was obviously done by someone with knowledge in the field of architecture, interior design and landscaping. Too bad we could only stay for a night.

Location is bang on for the Giants Causeway, and gives you free entry (otherwise National Rip-off Trust charges £31 per day)!
The room -after we got it changed - was large with good views. The original room was small and had no view.

The hotel was welcoming and set in a beautiful location with stunning scenery. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and great value for money and there was an excellent selection at breakfast. The Thermal suite was compact and it was great that numbers were limited so everyone could use the facilities without queuing.

Breakfast was lovely. Great value for money with spacious clean rooms. Location is out of the way but fine if you have a car. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Lovely comfy beds, nice up to date decor and conveniences. Nice food in the pub the night before. Clean. Really nice location to explore Carrick-a-Rede, Ballintoy Harbour and Giant’s Causeway.
A lovely country pub in an equally lovely area not too far from the Ballintoy Harbour and close to both Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the breakfast was great and for £10 extra very good value. It was quiet and parking was available both behind the pub and street parking in front.
great value for money. house was spotless clean and all site seeing tourist spots within 15 to 30 minutes away. we throughly enjoyed our stay and definitely will return. The views from the house were spectacular. Ballintoy harbour just 2 min up the road by car and the nearest pub a 2 min walk. The hosts were great and very helpful.
The B&B is very well located, close to Ballintoy Harbour, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway and other attractions. The staff is kind and thoughtful, the room is comfortable, cozy and clean. The breakfast is great.
The hotel was a short walk from Ballintoy Harbour. On a good day you get views of Sheep Island, Rathlin Island and Scotland. The staff were friendly and the kitchen provided a satisfactory meal in the evening.
Lovely quiet hotel very close to all the sites Giants causeway, Ballintoy harbour, beautiful beaches lovely scenery. Restaurant serves great food and a hearty breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Stayed in family apartment on second floor in the annex behind the main building which was large with sizable living space, good for a family of 5. Location is very good, Ballintoy Harbour and Carrick-a-Rede within easy walking distance, and other NI sights not far away.
Fantastic location to explore NI, in particular Causeway Coastal Route. Easy walking access to Ballintoy Harbour and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Spacious room with powerful shower facility. Donnach is a excellent host and breakfast cooked by his wife is also excellent.
