Musee d'Orsay to see many famous art works. Followed by a day (at least) at the Louvre, not only to see the Mona Lisa, but exploring the other wings of the building. Musee de l'Orangerie is also a must-see if you love Monet.
All-time favorites are the Musee de L'Orangerie (which has Monet's paintings of water lilies specifically made for this museum) and the Musee D'Orsay (a museum that was formerly a train station). Another hint: get a Paris museum pass and skip the waiting lines.
