Love Paris, no matter what!! I find more French people in all walks of life speak English more and friendlier. Only problem is Taxi. Drivers were rough, not courteous and non speaking English. I stopped using after couple of times and started to call Uber, which was a great surprise!! They were efficient, reliable, friendly, professional and cheaper!! I am so happy to know Uber is freely accessible in Paris.
Paris is my second home that I cannot possibly write all the charms here but it is always beautiful and exciting. Visited pharmacies, art supply shop, Monoprix, Samaritane, Lafayette. Found and bought many skincare products and out of this world cookies and chestnuts paste at Monoprix. I can see why all my friends in other EU countries look up Paris and yarning to visit. Paris is the city of beauty, excitement and excellence above all the other cities.

Paris is a phenomenal city.
Paris is a phenomenal city. Beautiful architecture, plenty of green spaces, and so many places to eat with a wide variety of options. There's really expensive food right down to affordable options and some times the best food is found off the beaten path. We found a patteserie next to a fish shop just off Wagram that was incredible. Generally the closer you are to a major tourist attraction, then the more expensive it'll be. Especially the eiffel tower. If you are a tea drinker like my wife and I are, don't expect to get a good cup of tea everywhere. We were flat out refused tea with our breakfast one morning in a brasserie 😂. They also frown upon decaf coffee 🤷♂️. We had planned to buy travel passes when we got to Paris, but we didn't bother, we just casually strolled around taking in the sights, sounds and smells. We stayed about 30 minites walk from the Eiffel tower and L'arc de Triomphe/Champs Ellysees was 15 minutes. Don't expect cyclists to stop at red lights apparently they don't apply to them. If you plan to see everything you can in a short space of time then I would advise travel passes. Lots of people smoke outside bars, bistros and cafes, so if you are offended by the smell, eat inside. Taxi fares are set from and to the airport, check these at the airport and ask your driver on the way back too, or some will take advantage. We asked one outside the hotel and he gave us an inflated price, the one we actually got was spot on. There's loads of history to learn about too, we'll discover more of that next time. Paris is not a city in a hurry, relax and unwind in it's beauty.

Beautiful city with many historic sights.
Beautiful city with many historic sights. Great choice of restaurants and shopping. A fantastic choice for a city break. The sights are slightly spoiled by having to be on guard against the full range of scams operating in these areas. The Metro system is comprehensive and reasonably priced allowing easy travel. I would definitely go again. It is not a cheap city, but very few cities are. Book visits in advance and you will circumnavigate some of the queues. Be aware of free entry to some areas of the sights such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe, you don’t have to pay to get close to these places.

Pickpockets where you least expect them.
Pickpockets where you least expect them. Make a list of your essential attractions and fit it in wth metro or bus. I found I couldn’t achieve all that I wanted to do in a day. Guided walking tours are great- you see the real city and its history. Try different food or aperitif. Consider the Tour Montparnasse for a birdseye view of Paris. It’s more manageable and the queues are less. The Louvres website is best to make a booking; make sure you start as early as possible as you may be there ALL DAY. Wear layers, take a raincoat and umbrella. 4 weathers possible in one day in Spring.

A big big city with lots of great and beautiful things and some ugly and bad things. Choice of vegan food is fairly limited - even fast food chains which have vegan food in our country (and globally) did not have it in Paris. Favourite places: Eiffel tower, Louvre, Seine, Versailles, Arc de Triomphe, Champs D'Elysees. Ate in rented flat, vegan fast foods and Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. Avoid tourist traps - they are everywhere and they are very expensive!

The city is very pretty but the long queues everywhere and the high prices made it a bit difficult to enjoy it to the fullest. For me personally Paris is best to go to some museums about art (Louvre mostly for its art and very specific statues) and some wine and bites in the evening.
Beautiful boutique hotel located next to the St Severin Catholic Church in a leafy street within the Latin Quarter. The rooms were wonderful - the nicest rooms we’ve ever had in Paris. Beautiful big sunny rooms with windows that open or air conditioning, whichever you prefer. Super comfortable beds and everything spotlessly clean.
Nice breakfast, includes bacon and eggs in addition to what you’d normally expect for breakfast in France.
5 minutes walk to the left bank of the Seine, 10 minutes to Notre Dame and Isle St Louis.
Hotel was clean. The gentleman checking us in was lovely, made nice conversation and was able to give us a street view room as requested upon booking. The room itself was modern, clean and comfortable. Many people complaining about the size of the room need to remember this is one of the cheapest hotels in Paris, if you want a big room, pay the money for it. We found the room size to be absolutely fine! Montmartre itself is a lovely area, lively, with restaurants & bars open until 2am.
Next to a métro station (Maraîchers). Very helpful staff: my room was on the fourth floor and I was dreading having to bring up my suitcase once Air France delivered it, but the receptioner was nice enough to bring it up to me. Only drawback is that there is no lift (I'm a bit too old for all the steps -- when I lived in Paris as a boy I had a chambre de bonne on the 8th floor with stairs but that's not so hard when you're 17). Good price, refrigerator, window, modern plumbing.
The room was comfortable. Not huge, but this is Paris. One side of the closet didn't fully open (door hit the bed) which was inconvenient to put away my suitcase, but manageable. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast in a nice room in the basement had far more options than I expected to find in France, and very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to Montmartre and very close to multiple public transport options. Good restaurants nearby, too.
We only had the breakfast on the last day, but it was a great selection, especially for the price! The decor of the rooms was also lovely - not bland chain or too weird or cheap-looking, just nice boutique hotel. Location was very useful for catching the Metro around Paris and when we arrived at Gare du Nord it was a very short walk from the station. We requested two rooms next to each other as we travelled with kids and they were able to do that no problem.
This is a very good 3 star hotel. Good bed, room not as small as in Paris usually, very nice breakfast with tomato, cucumber and other fresh things, good orange jiuice and caffe, and croissants, of course. Very nice people iin reception, speaking good English without accent what has been problem in France sometimes. Breakfast room is big but it was quite full of people. You can take tea, coffee and water all day.
We stayed here for 5 days. This price is too cheap for 5 days in Paris. The room was very cute, it was close to the station and it was convenient to go anywhere. There are many nice shops around the hotel. The room has all the daily necessities. If there are 10 stars, I would like to give them 10. I was very pleased with the really nice and cute room. Thank you very much. I recommend this hotel to my friends.
The beds were very comfortable and the bedlinens were lovely. We were upgraded to a superior room and found the size of the room and bathroom quite large by Parisian standards. The street was quiet and the AC was quiet. We had the best sleeps during a month in France. Serge was very friendly. The location was perfect for walking to places or catching the RER or Metro. Would definitely stay again.
I checked out leaving my bag in the room with quite of cash in there. While I was flying to another city in France just realized that I left my bag. Instantly contacted the hotel and all the staffs responded me really well. Eventually they found my bag and sent me to the location where I was at. Abdou, Mina, Tricia and Rémi worked extremely hard to make it happen. Thanks to all 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great unpretentious hotel situated in quiet side street at the bottom end of Rue du Bac. Perfect room and hotel size and facilities. Breakfast (extra, not cheap€14) excellent quality, quantity & variety. Nice communal areas, with complementary tea & coffee. Very courteous staff.
4 metro stations within 5 or 6 mins walk
Lovely part of Paris close to everything but not touristy.
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel France Albion. My room was quite comfortable, everyone at the hotel was very helpful. I enjoyed the neighborhood, there was a great variety of food options in the neighborhood. Also, there were a couple convenient Metro stations very close by. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.
I travel to France once or twice a year. The location was perfect for me as I love the 7th. I booked at the
hotel because the design/decor was beautiful. Kitchen was perfectly equipped...perfect and I am a retired chef.
Beautiful design in the rooms. Our room too small for two people.
Spacious room ,good lights and internet connection.I was particularly impressed by water hose in the bathroom which is unique among hotels in France.Breafast is amazing. The hotel is centrally located and 5 minute walk to the Arc de triumph and the champs. It is also connected to a mall.
Beautiful hotel that captures the spirit of classical France. The walking distance to luxemborg gardens also cannot beat. The staff is top notch. If you want to be absorbed in the history of the city of lights, and have a gorgeous room for a fair price, this is the hotel to stay out.
Room small but reasonably comfortable. Staff nice and friendly. Lovely little breakfast, although would have liked more healthy options, but I understand that in a small and relatively cheap Paris hotel, it would not be cost effectively possible. Therefore, it was very acceptable.
Dry friendly staff and beautiful boutique hotel . Booked last minute upon arrival to the airport in France . Location is excellent great cafe and restaurants as well as grocery store on the same block .Metro 5 minutes away walking.
It is the only cheap and comfortable hotel in Paris.
The cheapest I think. Good for students who wants a private room.
Rooms are clean.
There is a big green area next to hotel.
Friendly workers.
Nice atmosphere in the lobby.
Everything. It was very clean. 25 min away from city centre in metropolitan. Great value for money. It is a cheap place to be in Paris. You have everything you need to cook, besides the stuff members were very nice.
Best choice you could make for a lovely stay in Paris!
Amazing location, super clean and bright rooms, comfortable beds.
Paris France hotel will definitely be my choice for my future getaways in Paris!
Places was super clean and we felt decently safe! not the location you would think of staying in paris but super close to bus stops, metro, trains ect! Quiet at night and classic france during the day!
