We had not gone out to the Arc itself on previous visits, preferring to view from outside the traffic circle. This time we went to the center and found a lot of interesting memorials. We did not go to the top as one of our party doesn't care for heights.

If you have bought tickets online you don't need to queue either downstairs or on the ground level. You go to the attendant at the barrier and they let you through to a shorter queue at the stairs.

El arco del triunfo es realmente impresionante, no puedes ir a paris y no visitarlo, para acceder al arco debes bajar por una escalera caminar por un túnel que va debajo de la calle y sales en la plaza donde está, no se debe cruzar la calle, s muy peligroso.
Ir en la noche es increíble como se ve con las luces.

Realize that when you're driving around it, you may get caught circling for a while. But if you get in the outside circle....you can easily for off onto one of them. And the view from the top...looking down the Champs Elysee if unforgettable.

There are a lot of steps to go to the top, so be prepared!! But you have an access lift if needed. Very good views, perfect for a clear day and sunsets. Also, they tell you about the history of the Arc.

Was able to get my ticket through Hop on and Off Bis Tour...
Was able to get my ticket through Hop on and Off Bis Tour Validate the voucher from their office at Bus stop #4. It then means now queuing and you walk right on up. You can use the voucher to get to the top of the Arch at a later date which we did - a week later actually. Very easy

We booked this hotel because we ran a marathon and it was 10 min by walk from starting point. From our window we could observe Arc de Triomphe. Lots of restaurants, cafe, groceries nearby. Very welcoming staff. Optional breakfast for 16eur was also a great value for the money, so we ate at the hotel. Free unlimited coffee in lobby (very tasty). Free minibar until you request a refill. Comfy beds, clean rooms, spacious bathroom with Rituals cosmetics. We enjoyed our stay

Excellent location, there are shops, many restaurants nearby and also attractions (e.g. Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe) can be visited by walking. The apartment is big enough for 4 people. Kitchen is fully equiped.
I booked two connecting double rooms for my children, my wife and me. Rooms were comfortable. Hot tub on the terrace was great to relax after a long day seeing the sights. Only a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, and we then went on to the Arc de Triomphe, walked down the Champs Elysee to the Lourve before catching a Metro back to the nearest station which is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfast buffet was exceptional with plenty of homemade cakes and pastries.
Apartment is small but perfect for 3, it had everything needed, clean and fresh. Couple of min walk from Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. 30 min walk to Eiffel Tower and few min metro to the Louvre. For us it was ideal location and we felt safe. Also close to all designer shops.
The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was a very good size, with a spacious bathroom. The location of the hotel was great, it is close to the Arc de Triomphe and metro/rail stations.
The staff are very attentive and all speak english as well. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day, and they also changed the towels every day. The hotel offered, free of charge, to keep the luggage after the stay and I thought that was a very good point. The hotel is in a street full of bakeries, confectioners, restaurants and fast food, and there's also a fruit market, which is really nice. It's close to the metro and the Arc de Triomphe. I thought it was well worth it!
Amazing location. Two minutes by foot to the metro, super close to Arc de Triomphe… we stayed here for our two day trip to Paris and it was very, very convenient. There is a grocery store across the street open through most of the night, lots of street food, amazing cafes…
As for the hotel itself, it’s very clean, cozy, room was small but typical for Paris. Staff is very polite and kind.
We had a wonderful stay. Little hotel, perfect location that close to everything: 2 minutes away from the Arc de Triomphe, the metro and the shopping areas. All in walking distance. The room was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. Simple fruishings, but perfectly adequate. We’ll return to this hotel when we next visit Paris.
