The reception at the Royal Hideaway were excellent, and even helped rebandage an injury I sustained in Barcelona. They also allowed me to sit in tge "Hotel Guests inly" area after I had checked out and was waiting for the return train/bus to Zaragoza.
After reading the dress code, it appears that they flexibly "imposed" the dress code as it was not high season.

When I booked this I did not realise that the pass into France was closed just beyond. They gave us the option to cancel, but we decided to stay there anyway and backtrack the next day to the Col du Pourtalet pass, which was spectacular. We did not make use of the Spa and the pool was closed for the season. The evening meal was good and the breakfast had a very comprehensive selection. The Room and hotel was all very clean and modern.
Hotel Edelweiss is located 50 meters from the Candanchú chairlift, and only 2 km. from the Astun station, in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

Central to the mountains, and a pleasant stop over for one night. The ski slopes all closed, not open to hiking or other activities, so nothing to do in the town except eat and drink, or hike on the Camino trail for a short bit.

Menu for dinner while expectadly a bit limited the food was really nice home cooking style.
Views from Hotel are wonderful alpine vistas.
Hotel Tobazo is a mountain hotel located in Candanchú (Huesca) at an altitude of 1,530 meters to enjoy the snow in winter and the nature of the Aragonese and French Pyrenees in summer.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time and it was great and I have to say hotel improved since last time in terms of food. Breakfast this time was really good, not super huge selection, but everything was really good. Certainly more on level of 4 star hotel than 3 star hotel. Same goes for rooms, they were nice, newly renovated and spacious. Its definitely a very good hotel for this price and not to mention location which is only 30m from a ski lift. I will choose this hotel again when I will come back to Candanchu.
