My stay at Olivia Balmes was wonderful
From the minute I was greeted by Margarita and Godson when I checked in the customer service, the attention to detail the responsive of the staff was marvellous.
Both Margarita and Godson was always willing to assist with any questions. They helped with directions to where I want to go and went above and beyond.
The hotel was in a great location and the facilities were great from the gym to the pool to the cleanliness of the rooms
I was upgraded on my arrival and the room was spacious, practical and worthy of 5 stars and not 4.
I was a solo traveller and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. The hotel will be my hotel of choice on returning to Barcelona

The decor and vibe of the entire hotel was wonderful. We loved the courtyard in the lobby and the honesty bar was a nice touch. We also very much appreciated the daily recommendations and guide given upon check in. It was super useful for getting a sense of the immediate area.

I liked the easy location, friendly staff, clean room
Original and pleasant design with bookshelves in the lobby covering a huge space two stories tall, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Food in the restaurant was quite good, but the restaurant has an empty cold ambiance. If you're working in Plaza Europa or attending a conference, it's a great location, also near a convenient mall. If you're a tourist to BCN, this is not the right location for you.
If you stay in Plaza Europa for work or a conference, it is fine. The location is a bit isolated, but if the price is lower, it's ok. The room is large and comfortable with pretty nice design. There is a fridge, but no desk. Well connected to the airport and downtown by metro, buses and taxis.
