Location was chosen for proximity to Atocha station and Reina Sofia museum. But initially, our allocated room on C/Atocha was on busy street with traffic noise and close to nightclub-loud, drunken behaviour until 4 am. Very noisy! But staff responded well and new room was excellent. Nearby access to neighbourhood bars and cafeterias was great.

When you could get to it, the rooftop bar was really pleasant and the swimming pool was nice too.
A big problem was lots of outside people trying to access the rooftop bar at Sunset which made the lift impossible to use . Exceptional staff.
