All the streets are decorated with lovely colourful plant pots and shrubs and it is pretty for the eye against a backdrop of whitewashed terraced houses. Lovely promenade to walk along. So easy to walk around everywhere. The orchadarium is a nice different tourist attraction worth visiting for only 3€!

The guide books said very little about Estepona old town.
The guide books said very little about Estepona old town. We found that they were a little obsessed by the over-development of Torremolinos etc. But Estepona old town is truly beautuful and a delight to walk round. Houses are painted white and there are wonderfully maintained hanging baskets everywhere. The tiled street names, and poems are plentiful. Check out the Orchidarium too. What a great town! The main beach was also excellent... we had heard rumours it was a bit rocky. Not so, it was sandy and kids had a great time splashing in the sea

Estepona has excellent clean beaches, high standard of local restaurants for a full meal, tapas, or snacks.
Our favourites are: Alma de Miguel (also known as Taverna Miguel), La Casa del Rey, El Pescador and others.
The town is kept beautifully by the local council with flower arrangements everywhere and great architectural cacti gardens.
Beautiful hotel, right on the beach and about 15 min walk to Port or 40 min to Old Town. Room upgraded to sea view which was very kind of them. Met an old friend from 14 years ago who works on reception which was a bonus. The food was good, plenty to choose from and decent bars. Lovely pool, sunbeams very comfy and plenty of them.
The breakfast is great and the spa area is awesome. The staff is very kind, polite, and helpful. The area around the pool is ideal for lounging if you don't feel like leaving the hotel. The location is practical as it's a short (driving) distance to Malaga, Estepona centre, Marbella and Gibraltar, to name a few.
The apartment was in a great location. Minutes from the Port, supermarkets and bars and restaurants. Only a 30 minute walk to the old town of Estepona. The apartment had everything you need for a holiday and had a great size balcony overlooking the pool.
