Estapona is a pretty well kept resort, has a beautiful beach, not crowded .
We enjoyed exploring the different streets, each with their own colour for plant pots. We saw so many colourful scenes and took many photos.
The Orchidarium was amazing and cost three euros.
The Mountain village nearby called Casares was well worth the visit with some incredible views.
Restaurant “Sur” was our favourite place to eat.

Estepona has excellent clean beaches, high standard of local restaurants for a full meal, tapas, or snacks.
Our favourites are: Alma de Miguel (also known as Taverna Miguel), La Casa del Rey, El Pescador and others.
The town is kept beautifully by the local council with flower arrangements everywhere and great architectural cacti gardens.

Estepona is a vibrant town, with an old town quarter which is very picturesque and charming. The rest of town is also very pleasant to walk through with plenty of brilliant restaurants and quality shops. The promenade is extensive and covers the whole of the town from end to end with a beach which is well used by tourists and locals alike. There is building work going on updating old houses and replacing roads/walkways plus a new hotel or two but does not detract too much. As you walk around the newer areas fabulous murals are on some iof the buildings which are fun and interesting. A port area /marina with again good fish / seafood restaurants and a weekly market on Sundays. It’s really a great place for eating out, stopping for a coffee/drink and people watching, catching the sun.

Has a development project going on which isn't the best when on holiday to be covered in clouds of dust and in some areas unsafe underfoot
It had no soul to it unlike other resorts in Spain

Everything was great especially Plaza de Flores. We could sit here all day everyday. The seafront and the the flowers everywhere were amazing. The council guys were out every morning from about 7pm sweeping the beach and preparing it for the day. Most importantly, everything is affordable, even the most expensive bars and restaurants . Beer and wine about 2.50 - 3.00€. And even more important is that every where you go everyone is very friendly.

It is lovely sea front Spanish town which has been well maintained. It has a beautiful promenade with lovely plants . The main road through Estepona has been dedicated to cycle a pedestrian ways. There are plenty of restaurants and bars. They have maintained the historic buildings in a manner which is attractive to a visitor.
I have liked it all! The apartment was fantastic and location, best possible. Very well equipped and quiet. Close to the promenade and the beach. Also the old town a couple of minutes away. I recommend staying in the Apartamentos Miguel Angel in any time of the year. November nights were warm enough and we had additional heating available, not used though. The host was very communicative, and we could see that he was proud of Estepona and his region.
Location and price were the best things about this hotel. It’s just steps from the beach. Our room was tiny with very little space to move around, but the bed was comfortable and the shower stall was very large. The shower also had good pressure and lots of hot water. Our room was quiet and the wifi worked well. It was easy to park in a nearby garage at the hotel’s reasonable 10 Euro rate. Agata was very friendly and welcoming at check-in.
The view of the Marina but only a 20 minute walk to central Estepona with the beautiful old town and lively, family orientated beach promenade and side streets. Fantastic facilities in the apartment enabled a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The comfy bed and beach chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated! The apartment block had a pleasant community vibe about it. Nico is a friendly, organised and attentive host.
Arwen hosted us and was fantastic. Efficient and informative check in and set us up perfectly for our stay. Apartment was brilliant with a fantastic location, massive balcony and great views. Couple of relaxed bars on the promenade at the front of the and a handy Carrefour to the rear. Very short walk to Estepona Old Town which was lovely. Could not recommend enough - thank you !
The pool was lovely and the breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had anywhere. Maids were great to always get the room cleaned on time also. It was nice for us because we wanted to visit Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banus so it sits kind of in the middle of all 3 places! We used to get ubers which were a bit pricey or the bus which was only €2.
Beautiful hotel at perfect location in the centre of the old town of Estepona. Rooms comfortable and nice decoration overall at the hotel. We enjoyed the closeness to the beach and shops, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast. And do not forget to visit the terace at the top of the building!
Amazing property. Modern and tastefully decorated. Everything is there. Ocean views and view towards the old town. Beautiful terraces. Elevator is available. Fully equipped. Spectacular resort, short walk from town. Very clean and new. Great staff and hosts. Would stay here again for sure.
Second visit to this amazing place. We didn’t resist to return back here where the owners and staffs cuddle us like a family member. We had a different apartment but always well structured, clean and with all comfort. Love it, after many hotels this is the best place in Estepona.
Amazing location: less than 5 minutes to the beach, the supermarket and the old town. The apartment looks very neat, smells clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bonus are the (tight) parking garage and the rooftop terrace/pool. Definitely would book this again.

A centrally located apartment in the heart of Estepona old town: walkable to the beach and commerce streets, as well as plenty of restaurants and shopping around. Checkin and checkout were super flexible, and we had everything we needed.
Fantastic location on the sea front with estepona old town behind you. Great Seaview rooms on 20 of the rooms that get the sun most of the day.

Exceptional 5 star spacious clean well equipped apartment with stunning front line sea views on a very quiet complex. Nice walk along the beach to the marina. Easy taxi service into Old Town.
