Catalonia Giralda, hotel in Seville

Catalonia Giralda is located in Seville’s old town, 5 minutes' walk from Casa de Pilatos. The hotel features a heated indoor pool with a waterfall and jets, as well as free WiFi throughout.

Proximity to everything. Takes about 12-15 mins walk to and from the centre and restaurants and roughly the same amount of time and distance to their train station. The hotel lobby smells divine. The ambiance was very relaxing. One of the very few hotels around the area which has swimming pool. The room is spaceous and modern. Place is immaculately clean. Staff were so nice and even accomodated our request for an early check in and offered unlimited time to leave luggage once checked out.

The room was nice and spacious, with a really comfy bed, a coffee machine and full sized bodywash, shampoo, conditioner etc… in the bathroom. The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed walking or cycling into the centre of Seville each day. The views across the city from the rooftop bar / pool area are beautiful! FAQs about hotels in Seville

Hot by Day, Hotter by Night

Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.

People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.

The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.

But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.

Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

Ditch restaurants and be brave with tapas bars!

Ditch restaurants and be brave with tapas bars! Would totally recommend the Alcazar, Palacio de las Dueñas, Casa de Pilatos, Hospital de los Venerables and the Casa Fabiola. Visit the markets (Mercado) for picnic items or lunch-to-go. Most places will take card, but do have some money on you for bars and museums.

Seville is a beautiful city, easy to navigate, well laid out, maps help in the older area. Scenic, clean, beautiful river. Very friendly, helpful locals. We enjoyed a wonderful flamenco show and an excellent, enthusiastic, very knowledgable guide for a two-hour city tour.

Stay just outside old town for value for money.

Stay just outside old town for value for money. We stayed west of the river in Los Remedios. Just a short walk to Torre Oro where you can catch a hop on hop off bus. The city is easy to get around on foot if you are reasonably active. Plaza de España and the gardens are well worth a visit. The streets of the old town are lovely for a stroll to enjoy the cafe culture.

Really enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Giralda and Alcazar.

Really enjoyed visiting the Cathedral, Giralda and Alcazar. Lovely areas to explore - Triana etc. Don't miss Las Setas - fab views from here - and it is illuminated at night too. The bullring was very interesting too - even if you aren't into bullfighting. Lots of lovely tapas bars in the little streets between the cathedral and the river. You just need to wander and just end up where you end up! You can really get around on foot - although we did opt for the horse and carriage ride on our first day as an alternative to the Red Tour buses. The boat tour was ok - nothing special though so might give that one a miss if you are pushed for time. Would go again and wander around the Plaza de Espana and parque Maria Luisa more as just ran out of time. Also we did a day trip to Cordoba whilst here - a long day but worth it. Would thoroughly recommend Getyourguide to prebook any attractions as otherwise queues could be lengthy and you might miss out.

It is a beautiful little hotel, the staff are so friendly. Wonderful location for old town. Loved how quirky it is and so clean. Located in a beautiful quiet area with lots of character. Staff were very helpful and so warm. A more taditional Spanish/Moorish style hotel and so clean. My friend from Canada and i (from Ireland) were very impressed. Its not like the new chains of hotels but that add to the experience. Excellent homely place to experience the Spanish hospitality and a palce to chill between exploring Seville.

The location was superb as was the hotel. Whilst the room was small it was very comfortable and had every amenity you could wish for. The hotel was cosy and had an ecleptic collection of furniture giving it a unique/boutique vibe. The hotel also has an arrangement with a local Saba car park (about a ten minute walk away so drop off your luggage first). Luis was extremely helpful. The cafe next door (access via the hotel) served the best breakfast in Seville and in the evening the best Negroni!

This was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip to Spain. It was nice to have an apartment rather than just a hotel room. We did laundry. There was an extra bedroom that we used to put our suitcases in. We had a terrace that looked out onto the street though not all the apartments have outer terraces. Some look onto the inner corridors and are noisier with people passing by. Our apartment was very quiet and on the top floor. It was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

The location is unbeatable—just a very short walk to the river, the cathedral, the Alcázar and other points of interest. Yet the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. And the accommodations were far and away the nicest we have found in our month of traveling in Portugal and Spain. On top of that, the staff (Nuria in particular) was remarkably helpful and welcoming. If we return to Seville, we will definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect location for us as we didn't want to drive into the centre of such a busy city and it was only 7 euros in an Uber to Seville old town. Private parking. Huge comfy bed, slept like a log! Small pool but a nice to have anyway. Juan Carlos who checked us in was just lovely, quite amusing and helpful! Good coffee and churros in the adjoining coffee bar. We didn't bother with the hotel breakfast buffet.

Location was great - if you arrive by air, the airport shuttle takes you right to the old town area and the hotel is within 5min walk. It’s super close to the Real Alcazar and cathedral and we were able to take some short rest in between the visit in our room - quite a relief in the hot Seville summer. The "queensize" bed was actually 2 twin beds pushed together. The location was great, but Seville's streets are narrow, and Spaniards never seem to sleep, so the abundant noise down there was amplified up here. But that's not the Hostal's fault: it's like that everywhere in Spain.

Excellent Boutique hotel. Good location in old town Seville. Lovely decor and ambiance. Excellent staff and so helpful on locations to visit, cafes, restaurants etc.. Decent variety and selection for breakfast.

Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Gave lots of good recommendations about not only Madrid but other areas of Spain. Well kitted out kitchen. Nice rooftop terrace.

Our room was large and clean. It was one of the best hotels we stayed in Spain. The breakfast was great and the churros were amazing. All staff were friendly and helpful.
