Very fascinating hotel in the city center with a lovely patio and a swimming pool and resting area on the roof. Very quiet and peaceful. The host was really welcoming, he gave us all the information to visit the city and he helped us as we forget an object in the room. It's a pleasure staying in a such structure. Really recommended.

The hotel was in town with access to restaurants, cultural sites. The provision of parking was very helpful, the room was ample and met our requirements. Surely, we will come back! Cheers to the staff for such a good service.

I didn't get to see these, much as I would have liked to, becauseI didn't realise that pre-booking is essential for the tickets issued by the city authority. Guided tours are availabe but only at much higher prices which might make a family visit too costly (and as I have hearing problems, not worth the money!)

Fascinating tour of the Air Raid shelters used by the civilian population during the Spanish Civil war in the late 1930's. The tour is in Spanish but the 15 minute video at the start of the tour has English subtitles. Even over 80 years ago, discussion of the Civil War is still avoided among Spaniards making this attraction all the more important.

Book online or go a buy tickets beforehand - not on the day! There are time slots and only a few tickets available. So book in advance not to be disappointed. The guide only spoke Spanish, and quickly at that. Do your research beforehand if you don't understand Spanish. But Spanish or not it is a fascinating trip underground, seeing and feeling the scale and depth of these tunnels. You can always end it by going for a coffee and looking up exactly what you did after.
