Just sitting by the Rhine, watching the barges, with a nice glass or two of beer - relaxing. We also love the tram ride (30 minutes) to Bonn, which is a wonderful city.
The worst thing about it is the train ride up to Drachenfels. Expensive and unnecessary, since the walk up is easy and pleasant. Visiting the Drachenfels is truly awful. There are far too many people and the facilities at the top are woeful.
The reception was courteous and efficient. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet, which was much appreciated after a very long and tiring journey. The breakfast was excellent, and served in a calm and very friendly manner. The charges (which included free parking) were most reasonable. The highly convenient location suited our requirements perfectly as it was midway on a very lengthy car journey over two days. For those wishing to explore the local area it is perfectly situated. We would strongly recommend the hotel.
For its price, I really like this hotel! The room is so spacious, big bed, clean linens, hot water in the bathroom, and easy check in/check out process! It’s a bit far from the city but there’s a direct bus (bus stop is 2 mins walk from the hotel) to Bonn HBF that will take 40mins — but you wont mind it because of the scenic road, which I personally find quite relaxing!
Spacious apartment in a quiet location. Parking in front of the door. It's about 900m to the tram stop, but it's a quick drive into Bonn. Nearest supermarket is about a 10 min walk away, but it's easy to drive to and has parking. The bed in our room was remarkably comfortable. Nice walks nearby in the woods. We will plan to stay here again on our next trip to Bonn.
The host is very hospitable and helpful. The apartment is clean, quiet, spacious and well equipped. Even mobile charger is prepared by the host. The internet is fast. Check-in and check out are extremely easy and flexible. In addition, the environment is very picturesque. We will definitely book the apartment again the next time we visit Bonn.
Fantastic location, easily reachable by car.
The room was spacious with all amenities.
Breakfast is superb.
Very swift check in and out
Staff will help bring your luggage from car to room. Valet parking available.
This was our 3rd time there as first stop when we drive further into Germany.
We will certainly be coming back.
The property was easily accessible and relatively close to the train/bus stations, direct trains to Bonn central. The place has a well equipped kitchen, quiet and in a very safe area. Ideal for long-term stay with a shop nearby and wonderful walks. The host was very nice and receptive to my few requests.
Beautiful, comfortable, very well equiped apartament located in quite place in peryphery of Bonn and very well conected with city.
There is free and safe parking in front of the house.
The host is very kind, helpfull and friendly.
My warm recommandation for this apartment.
Excellent quality of the hotel. The room was fabulous and the staff were exceptional across the board. Very helpfull and accomodating. We went with a 1yr old, and they took time to set up a cot and special dining arrangements to suit. Thank you.
The location on a hill means that you have lovely views of Königswinter below.
There are lots of walking paths into the forest to take the dog for a walk especially when it’s hot outside, lots of shade.
The rooms were beautifully redone, with beautiful pieces of furniture. The hotel offered a wonderful breakfast, as well as a bar for the evenings. The staff was helpful and kind. Definitely recommended!
It had everything we needed for a one night say and if we had stayed longer it would have been perfect too. The village nearby appears to be safe and quiet. I love that the hotel allows dogs.
Well kept small hotel with a lot of character, beautiful decor and friendly service. Cafe/restaurant serves an interesting selection of German/French dishes, beer and cidre.
