If you're in Lübeck and are interested in the old historical buildings of the old quarter, this is an exceptional chance to actually stay in one! It is amazingly quaint, homely and charming, the staff is so, so lovely, breakfast is delicious and from local providers, and the location is perfectly nestled in a quiet steet (also has a beautiful little rose back garden) really close to all the cool attractions. Even though the building itself is old, it has all the facilities you need - we even had a bathrub, minifridge, and teakitchen in our room. We stayed in the Rügen Suite in June, and we absolutely loved this place and would 10/10 stay there again.

The location is great - 5 minutes walk from the Holstentor, 10 minutes walk from the city center. The staff is very friendly! They gave us extra hot chocolate and expresso for free whatever time during the day we wanted to have it. They gave us extra cake for free. And they have a goodies station where you can help your self. It was the best experience out of the last 20 or so hotel experiences we had. We definitely would like to come back to this place.
Everything was great about our stay. The apartment is beautifully-designed, very comfortable and only a short walk from the Holstentor. Everything was of really good quality, with thoughtful touches, such as the Lubeck marzipan and water bottles for use during our stay.
The hotel is right opposite the station and a ten minute walk from the Old Town. It has been recently restored and coffees and snacks and other entertainments are available in the lobby. There is secure multi-story car parking about 10 minutes away for a reasonable charge at the Parkhaus Holstentor on the way to the Old Town.
The hotel is situated right next to the Holstentor, so within walking distance you can easily cover the old city of Lubeck. The room was quite spacious too and well equipped, the beds were comfy but aside from this I can't say there's more to add since we didn't spend so much time in the room anyway.
Perfect location! In the old city very close to the old citygate Al Holstentor and there is also a lots of restaurants and cafés down the street. The apartment was big and had everything we needed. The staff running the apartment was also friendly and very service minded. I can highly recommend this place and also the restaurant Fangfrisch which are runned by the same persons. The best food we had in Lübeck!
The location was good. Room size was decent
Beds were comfortable. Overall a nice stay. The busy centre Holstentor was about 10mins walk from the hotel. Many restaurants and eateries are located near that area. The famous marzipan place, cafe niederegger is another 10mins walk ahead from Holstentor.
Very handy location, comfortable and spacious apartment and a (paid) parking. The kitchen has everything you need. We really liked it. It's only 10 minutes walking to the Holstentor (Altstadt).
The owner is very friendly and flexible.
Very nice and beautifully decorated house right outside the old town Lübeck, less than 10 min walking distance to the emblematic Holstentor. We stayed in the small holiday apartment and the extra bedroom. We were very comfortable and would go back if we return to Lübeck.
