The lake is beautiful, the food was the best I had in all of Germany. The bathrooms are shared. It was closer to historic Füssen by car than I expected. Plenty of hiking and biking trails. Breakfast was included. Staff mostly speak excellent English if needed.

Really beautiful little town.
Really beautiful little town. Lots of interesting shops, great restaurants and very tempting pastries. The town is overlooked by the Alps affording spectacular views but there are also riverside walks and quaint streets to explore plus a Franciscan monastery and a castle. Plus Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles are a short bus ride or taxi ride away.

Wonderful, peaceful little town, perfect for those who love hiking and nature. There is an awesome reptile zoo nearby too, worth seeing. The people smile and say "hello" to strangers on the street and everyone decorates their houses almost as if it's some contest to make their property cutest. In spring the whole area is drowning in flowers blooming and sounds of birdsong.

It's beautiful, at the foot of the mountains. The downtown area is quaint and offers a wide array of shopping options that range from inexpensive to custom/higher end items. Many eateries and bakeries to choose from, with cuisine from all over the world. The town is not large, but has every feature we wanted. The local parks are amazing if you're traveling with kids! They had scooter paths, basketball, bike tracks, everything! The hiking trailheads can be found within walking distance from town and are lovely. It's only a 4 minute drive to Neuschwanstein Castle and makes getting there easy.

Make sure you receive a "Fussen Card" with your...
Make sure you receive a "Fussen Card" with your accommodation. Allow a full day to do the castles and make sure you are there for the morning (8 am )tickets so you can beat the bus loads of other tourists. Food from restaurants is expensive and parking for the day is 10 euro. Catch the bus for 3 euro and save your legs.
The hotel is not located in the very center of the city, but it is actually excellent. This area of Fussen is very quiet, calm and incredibly picturesque, however, like the whole city and its surroundings. It so happened that we got more room than expected! Huge two-room suite with a spacious bathroom and a large balcony. Very comfortable beds and hearty breakfasts. But the location will add special value to this hotel, there are such beauties around that nature lovers will definitely like it. What is the starry sky? It's gorgeous!
This was my third visit to Fussen and the first time in this hotel, for sure I would stay here again if I had to revisit.
Staff: All the people I came in contact with at the hotel were very nice, helpful and customer friendly; both the reception staff and the lady at the breakfast area.
Breakfast: The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice for both sweet and savoury. A bonus touch was that the lady brings you a coffee pot on the table and also asked if we needed more, such an excellent service.
The owners were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the train/bus station, which is very convenient.
The room was very spacious and quiet, the beds were very comfortable, which was much needed after a full day of walking around all the castles.
The breakfast was amazing and on top of that when we were leaving the hotel they gave us for our trip a few sandwiches for free.
I wish we could stay a few more days and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Fussen.
Mr. Norbert was a Godsent when it comes to arrange for the pick-up from Ulrichsbrücke-Füssen train stop. Our train had reached late at the station and the last bus had left. Luckily, upon messaging the property through the booking.com app we were able to check-in safely. Nonetheless, the location was perfect to explore, and the last day departure was a breeze, easily walked up to the Füssen train station behind the hotel. I've added a picture of the view opposite our window.
The hotel was excellent, excellent service, good eqiped and sound insulited rooms, confortable beds etc.
Property is situated in the Füssen centre, so it is basicaly in the few minutes walking distance from all turistical attractions of the city. Property contains an undenground garage, so You could park Your vehicle safely during Your stay.
Our short stay at Christine was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The owner and staff were all so friendly and warm. The breakfast cooked by the owner was exceptionally satisfying in both taste and presentation, which was by far the best of our two-week-long trip covering South Germany. The Hotel Christine epitomizes small-town hospitality.
Our landscape view of the mountains and lake as the backdrop from our room balcony was magnificent. Same view from the patio below where you dine. We had dinner in the restaurant, wait staff were dressed in authentic Germany wear adding to the already wonderful atmosphere. Food was exceptional also.

Welcome drink especially the hot red wine, room - big and full of all facilities & amenities, location - in the centre of Fussen, parking - hotel has their own private parking, breakfast - plenty of choices & after breakfast, owner will 'force' you to pack some for lunch, haha
The location of the hotel is two to five minutes away from old town or the Füssen Banhof where you want to go for busses to the castles. Brekafast had a good choice of foods, from musli to eggs to different jogurts. There was also coffee for those that need it to wake up. :)
Lovely hotel in the heart of Fussen. Our room and the entire building were very clean and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and we also enjoyed a fine meal in their restaurant. Parking was available at the hotel and the castles were just a short drive away.
The train system in Germany collapsed the day I arrived. The staff was so kind and supportive to make me check in very late and at night and provided everything I need for a comfortable stay at the hotel. Amazing kitchen, great location, very clean.
Location was the primary reason for choosing the hotel. It was in the center of Fussen with easy foot access to shopping, eating, and wandering the old town center. Restaurant and breakfast were quite good as well. Staff was superb!
