Excellent hotel - the location is perfect for visiting the castle and Mala Strana district, and also an easy walk to Charles Bridge, trams and metro. It is true, as others have noted, that it is a a steep walk back up from Mala Strana, but fine for anyone of normal fitness. We were very pleasantly surprised by how quiet the location was - very little passing traffic, and although we heard a few passers by at night they were not noisy or disruptive. Our room was spacious and clean, nice bathroom, and we were glad of the air conditioning. Breakfast was very good - better than we expected. Staff were all delightful, and very keen to help with a friendly attitude. The bar in front of the hotel is a lovely place to sit and watch the crowds pass by; we didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good with plenty of Czech dishes.
Hotel Constans is situated in the very centre of historical Prague, directly below Prague Castle. It was created by the sensitive renovation of 3 buildings dating back to the 16th century.

We were given a very nice large room on the third floor, it was a heatwave for a few days but this was not a problem as there was an air conditioner in the room.
The staff were all very attentive and we appreciated the vouchers for a few local restaurants.
Breakfast had a wide continental selection with some hot options too.

The location was very good - although quite some distance from the city centre, it has its own tram stop and is in a pleasant, quiet area of the city. The tram line runs past the Castle and Strahov Monastery, so sightseeing is very comfortable in that part of the city.
