The room was big with a very nicely equipped kitchen, the seating area was nice. The description on booking.com does not do this hotel justice at all, the room did by far exceed my expectations. The little I did see the staff (only in the reception) was really pleasant and to my surprise the spoke really good English, I have been at several locations in this city and most hotels stated the speak English but reality is you are lucky if the do. This is definitely the best service I have ever experienced in this area. I have definitely located a hotel in this area I will be returning to in the future. I would definitely recommend this hotel to both friends, family and colleagues.

The hotel was nice, and very modern. It was in a convenient location that was very close to the city center, and close to the university. The staff was friendly and professional at both check in and check out. I would stay here again.

Make your way up Black Tower’s 360 steps and you’ll find České Budějovice stretching out beneath you in every direction – a just reward for your efforts. First built in the 1500s, the tower serves as a belfry for nearby St. Nicholas Church, and contains five bells: Bumerin, Budvar, Marta, Oktáva and Maria.

Definitely worth the climb to the top.
Definitely worth the climb to the top. It starts out with a spiral staircase, then opens up into large chambers with wooden stairs. The view is spectacular but unfortunately a bit marred by a chain-link fence they erected to prevent suicide jumpers.

Great location in the city center, next to the Black tower. Very friendly staff. The apartment was very large, with comfortable beds. AC was in the uper and lower floor. Couch in the living room was a little tired. You had to pay for dishwasher tablet, washing mascine tablet etc. (but dish soap, washing gel were for free). Parking spot was nearby ( 5min walk) in a parking garage for 6€.
