The location was very beautiful and quiet, need a car to get to and from town.
The host was exceptional, gave us lifts to and from the cable car, and to the train station, breakfast was provided, far more than we needed.

Tujia folk houses, is in a quiet location not far from the airport with an amazing view of Tianmen Mountain. The owner Tina is a fantastic hostess, she will help you with route planning and park ticket reservations,
She will come to the airport and take you back for free.
She is very friendly and nice.

I was up on the mountain in the winter ,3 days after...
I was up on the mountain in the winter ,3 days after heaven's door was closed ,so get there when the main attraction is open . I was the last tourist off the mountain ,but it was still fantastic ,everything was covered in ice and it was very foggy ,I still enjoyed the experience. Once again make sure those things you want to see are going to be available

Tianmen Mountain or heavenly gate is a great attraction with stunning views. It is easy accesible by cable car, the routes are clear and there are different things to see and to do, the temple, the gate and the glass walk. I prefered this place over the Yangjiajie Scenic Aera.

Its location is very good. The street is quiet and it is near to the cable way to Tianmen mountain station. The owner of the hotel gave us nice advises and helped us to get the tickets for the park.
Despite staying only for a few hours, arriving at 7 PM and leaving at 7 AM the next day, my experience was excellent. Jerry was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions about the Zhangjiajie trip and even assisting me with purchasing the Tianmen Mountain entrance ticket, which solved a big issue for me. The hostel's location is ideal—within walking distance of Tianmen Mountain and directly across from the bus station.
We were sick during our stay and the host made sure that we could rest comfortably. The view is good, we can see the Tianmen mountain from hotel windows.
The hotel was very near to the entry point for Tianmen Mountain, which was a great plus. They kindly arranged passes for the mountain and also Zhangjiajie National Park, which were both awesome. The room was modest but comfortable and fairly quiet overnight; there are also lots of choices when it comes to local restaurants.
Perfect location. 10 minutes far from the Zhangjiajie main entrance, and 5 minutes far from the bus station to get to the other main places (Tianmen Mountain, Grand Canyon,...) and the railway station. Rooms are big and bathroom as well. All the days it was cleaned and 1 use towels were placed on it.
After you check in in the hostel, , you get a detailed descripción how to visit and get to Zhangjiajie Park and the other attractions. Lili-Ly is all kindness helping you online every question and with the online attractions bookings.
Location wise, it is pretty decent with a night market right in front of the hotel and convenience stores along the street. Walking distance to the ZJJ National Park. But for Tianmen Mountain and the Grand Canyon, it is a significant distance away. Staff was very helpful in providing directions/route to the scenic spots.
As 2 young women who only speak english, the community was very welcoming and helped us find our hotel, and then the staff were extremely patient and thoughtful throughout our stay. I really loved the location, walking distance to Tianmen Mountain Cable Car, and also to incredible food (once again recommend by the staff) felt really happy and safe :)

During the epidemic, I have been in China and felt the enthusiasm of the Chinese people. I had the opportunity to travel to Zhangjiajie and met the owner of the inn, who was very warm and friendly! The hotel is also very close to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, about 10 minutes' walk away. There is also a lot of delicious food near the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, if there is a chance, I will definitely stay in this hotel!!
