The location was very beautiful and quiet, need a car to get to and from town.
The host was exceptional, gave us lifts to and from the cable car, and to the train station, breakfast was provided, far more than we needed.

They would help to turn the air conditioner on in each room before we come back each hot summer day 😌 and there was delicious home cooked breakfast every morning
The host also makes the entire zhangjiajie trip stress-free for his guests. He uses his experience and knowledge as an ex-tour guide to enhance our experiences by giving recommended itineraries and great explanations how to get around the areas we wanted to visit - to see the best sceneries from different angles and how to avoid the crowds! He would also settle the transportation to the locations at reasonable pricing (comparable to hailing a didi, worth!!!). Communication with the host via WeChat was also great with fast responses to queries and regular check-ins. The host was also very very accommodating and really goes out of his way without making you feel bad (like driving us to the night market/convenience store at 11+pm 🥲🥲🥲 because we were hungry). He gives great food and shopping recommendations too!

The Tujia folk houses accommodation was fantastic! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Our host was amazing - we were picked up from the railway station on arrival and dropped off when we left. Our host also provided lots of helpful information about Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie National Park. She dropped us off at the ticket office for Tianmen Mountain and she arranged a taxi to take us to the national park.
The pool at the hotel was great for cooling off after a long day out! The view from the pool was beautiful!
Overall, great accommodation. And there are two great places to eat nearby!

The hotel owner and his family are very welcoming and helpful! Also the location was very near to the bus station (-> National Park) and the cable car (-> Tianmen Mountain), under 10 minutes by foot each. Lots of food places around.

Perfect location to explore the Tianmen mountain a the cableway station is literally 5 mins walk from the hotel entrance. Very new, clean and well-maintained hotel. Special mention to the front counter staff on our check in day who patiently helped us sort out payment issue! Lovely library at the lobby.
Hotel is brand new and clean cozy place to stay. The location is perfect, only 300 meter walk from Tianmen mountain Cable Car. A plentiful breakfast buffet in the morning that is delicious with Chinese and western style. It is super nice for international traveller. As the staff member with good English, Matthew was super helpful in organising things for us and went above and beyond. Otherwise we couldn't get the ticket for the Tianmen Mountain. Definitely recommend.
The location is really close to a food street, we got there at 11pm and the stalls are still open.
Even though the hotel is close to the food stalls, it is very quiet.
We got pick up from the airport even though we arrived at 10pm.

The hotel owner was very helpful and gave us many travel tips. There is a nice restaurant with local food around the corner. The swimming pool offers an amazing view on the heavenly gate mountain. The location is very central, right in the middle of Tianmen mountain and Zhangjiajie, which makes it easy to travel around.
During the epidemic, I have been in China and felt the enthusiasm of the Chinese people. I had the opportunity to travel to Zhangjiajie and met the owner of the inn, who was very warm and friendly! The hotel is also very close to Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, about 10 minutes' walk away. There is also a lot of delicious food near the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, if there is a chance, I will definitely stay in this hotel!!
