The hotel is in a quiet location but very convenient for shops, restaurants & the station. Such a friendly team at the Sonnwendhof, nothing is too much trouble & a fabulous breakfast buffet too. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. We have stayed here before & we’re happy to return

Great place for parents to relax with kids under 12 yrs old. Comfortable spacious room with a balcony and view. They even included a surprise gift for the kids. Complete breakfast with a kids playroom around the corner. Amazing wellness area and swimming area with kids pool, slide and other things for kids to get excited about! The restaurant was gourmet and there was also a kids area to play so parents can actually enjoy their meal. We walked from the hotel to Engelberg center via a beautiful trail that runs along the river (about 20-30 mins walking). Wifi worked perfectly. Everything was very clean. There is also a camping site with small grocery store in case you need anything at all.

Such a lovely new building, rooms are lovely with views from every balcony. Staff were amazing, so helpful and really on hand to deliver a 5* service. Fantastic all round.

We travel extensively and have to say that this is one of the most superb hotels that we have EVER stayed in.
The location is stunning, the rooms large and beautifully appointed, the Wellness centre quite extraordinary and the food excellent. There were small touches (take anything from the minibar - there is no charge) that add up to a lovely experience.
What makes a hotel seem like home is the quality of the service and every person we met at Waldegg was very friendly, very welcoming and extremely warm. A special mention of Isolde who ferried us around with a big smile - but this really extends to everyone we met. Can’t wait to return.

Modern, very nicely arranged and cozy rooms. The whole hotel is of a high standard and even the dormitory rooms are well organised and offer enough privacy. Food in the evening as well as the breakfast were very good. Friendly and competent staff. Perfect location right at the Sustenpass.

Titlis's experience was incredible, the views breathtaking. We just find out in there, that the Blue slopes are not suitable for snow-winter sports beginners at all, non of the slopes are for beginners at all. We are planning to go back to Titlis one day and enjoy the slopes too, not just the views.

Great location, near the Mt Titlis cable car, near the hotel there were supermarket and children playground, nice quiet area. You can get towels and bathrobe in the pool area.
Location is super cool. Walking distance from Engelberg station. We had 4 bags but were able to comfortably reach by 5 mins walk.
Ours was a mountain view and the view was amazing.
Ladies at the reception are super awesome and guided us very well. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy Mt Titlis or Engelberg.
Great location close to Titlis gondola. Hostel itself has parking, games/table tennis/outside area/balcony. Clean beds and washrooms, quiet in summer but well setup with breakfast and optional dinner. Really enjoyed my stay.

Engelberg is an excellent location.
Apartment was well thought out. Great place to stay a few days or a week. View from the windows were spectacular. We could see the Titlis mountain and a ski jumping hill. Restaurants and shops just around the corner.
1 minute walk from Engelberg train station. 5 minute walk to Titlis Cable car. Kitchen set complete. Beds, pillow, blanket, extrabed and sofa very comfortable, balcony view are amazing. Apartment super clean and brand new stuff. There is elevators so for travellers with lugagge it is very convenient. Definitely will come back! Thank you for the drinks and chocolate :)
Location is fantastic for skiing the Titlis area and only a short stroll into town. Apartment exceeded our expectations, it was well equipped and spacious. We were a party of 4 friends on a long weekend ski trip.
Esther met us with the keys at the property, and very kindly let us check out a little later on last day so that we could ski before our departure.
The apartment is literally at the bus stop (Titlis station is only 1 stop), it was clean, fully equipped, the beds were very comfortable, it is suitable for a family or group of friends.
The apartment is owned by Hotel Waldegg, whose staff is super helpful and kind, ready to help at any request!
The cosiness of the apartment; the terrific view on the Tru"bsee hostel and mountains. The Tru"bsee tube races in the snow, and above all the majestic Titlis with its ice cave and the 3000m high air bridge (which is not that scary at all).
