The staff were friendly, accomodating and really helped make it such a special experience. I proposed to my girlfriend whilst we were staying and they really made extra effort to make it memorable including roses and decoration of the room, advice on champagne etc. They have mutliple restaurants on site and the mountain view is stunning!

Very convenient location. It's very close to the parking garage and also to the bus stop. And it's still quiet at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful with their advice. Breakfast is great, with fruit, croissants, bread, cheese, omelet, eggs, sausages, all you can ask for 😀.

The staff were very friendly and informative, and were so helpful when I had to extend a night due to travel plan changes. The single room is spacious with full sized bathtub in the private bathroom. The spa/sauna area is modern and I had the several facilities all to myself for both times I went. The hotel offered pick-up and drop-off services from/to the bus-stop, which was very helpful for me given my luggage and the snow. Breakfast was also amazing, partly because of their close relationship with the Chinese/Thai restaurant downstairs. I had a wonderful time there and would definitely recommend this place.

Great Swiss village, very clean, very friendly people. Getting around the village can be a challenge. Taxi service appears to be unregulated and prices over the same distance seem to vary from driver to driver

Saas Fee is a wonderful small village at the bottom of various 4000m Peaks. There is so much to do, as much in the summer as in winter. The village has everything plus a wonderful bonus: car free! It is clean, very well organized, very friendly people...just a wonderful place!

Overall excellent but did not find the piste marking / maps adequate. As a result it took some time to work the area out. I also feel the village could improve their website and the number and arrangement of webcams. It is way more beautiful than these show

Saas Fee is stunning.
Saas Fee is stunning. The resort was excellent and everyone there was really nice and very polite. The restaurants we ate at were of a very high quality and being Switzerland you expect to pay fairly high prices. The Apres and nightlife was better than other resorts I've visited and I think the people made that the case. We went in January and were apparently very lucky with the weather being sunny as according to a local its usually blizzards. Please note that the pistes face north so were shaded near the bottom. For more sun exposure we drove 5mins to Saas Grund which our ski pass covered. Saas Grund hasn't as many runs but it was still worth a day trip. To summarise I would definitely hit this place up again.
What an pleasant surprise ,out of many trips we had and many hotels we booked around the world, this one is exceptional!
the staff shows they welcome you sincerely and made sure you will have a good time here. We had dinner at the hotel and don't let the price tag scared you as all other places are more pricey. The food is fresh and plating is nice. Free breakfast topped anything you paid at a 5 star hotels. Would love to go again Saas-Fee is a place to spend a quiet vacation and you can still go skiing in Sept!
This was our second time at the one of the Ambiente hotels and once again we had a great time. The staff are amazing, super helpful and really make us feel at home. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better, right next to the lifts and main area, with lots of restaurants and shops around. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast and dinner here are great, and with a very good price. There is also free pick-up service from the bus station or carpark. We will be back next year!
The family room set up was great. The kids room has a sliding door and it’s own bathroom for privacy. There was no fridge but we put our beverages on the porch so no issue. They had a nice breakfast and the spa was lovely (except the hot tub wasn’t very hot but that seems to be a Swiss thing). The ski storage room near the lifts was a nice perk. We brought our border collies and the dog fee was very reasonable and they had plenty of room.
The room was wonderful with a great balcony view overlooking Saas-Fee and the surrounding Allalin mountains. The hosts were wonderful - super friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The traditional Walliser Abend was an excellent experience - really delicious raclette. Excellent breakfast with good coffee. The private sauna and hot-tub were also wonderful to have use of at the hotel. My girlfriend and I would come back anytime!
The best location one can ask for both to access the main lift and to walk back from the bottom of the ski piste at the end of the day. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. The staff was very kind and attentive, the room very spacious and with a beautiful atmosphere. The breakfast was generous. There has been a separate area for the skis and boots to be heated so that it can dry for the day after.
Well organised shared rooms which allow some privacy and not getting woken up by anyone else in the room. Toilets and showers were very clean. For me, the best thing of the hostel was the spa area. It was really at a good Swiss standard with beautiful view on the mountains. The staff at the hotel are also very nice and allowed early check-in, as weather was really bad that day. Would definitely come back.
Very nice stay, really great hosts 👍 who make you feel like at home.
Even though the location is at the end of the village it is very well connected to the village center as 2 of the bus lines stop there. One of them has its terminus right in front of the hotel so you are sure to always get a free space on the bus when you want to leave for the ski slopes in the morning.
Great location in Saas Fee; minutes walk from everything but in a quiet area. Everyone in the hotel was really friendly. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Lovely room and lots of space on the balcony (view slightly blocked by cranes but this is not the hotel’s fault and thank goodness there was no construction noise). We had a great stay.
Everything was great. The host really cared about all the details. The apartment was very clean and has all a family needs. Spacious enough to really enjoy the stay. The location is awesome, quite, but less than one block from main street and only a few from the lifts. Anything we needed, the host was there to help. Well prepared for skiers.
The Breakfast, lunch and dinner was super, every food i had in the hotel was fresh and delicious, the staff were super friendly and treated me like a family, the spa has jacuzzi and sauna, great shower and you can experience snow and hot sauna at the same time with privacy.
The room is perfect, very comfy and spacious. The shower is fantastic. The location of the hotel is great, near the bus station. The breakfast is good. The owners that work there are so nice and gentle, they gave us helpful information more than once.
Spacious, comfortable apartment in stylish skandi design. The large kitchen area is well equipped with everything one needs. Walk-in shower area, comfy beds. One of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Fabulous! We’ll def be back!
From start to finish the staff were exemplary and made you feel special. All the luxury and facilities of a 5 star hotel, whilst still feeling like a cosy ski lodge. We loved it!! Thank you Capra.
Cozy hotel and nice spacious room! Hotel is a bit outdated but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and very nice location. Close to the restaurants and bars without the noise
Very, very nice, polite, accommodating staff, super clean and comfortable hotel with great mountain view from our room. I would definitely want to return to this hotel.
