The apartment is simply beautiful, has an amazing view and every facility a tourist might need. The location, right outside Grindelwald Terminal train station, is a great positive especially if travelling without a car.
I liked the location of the hotel; Grindelwald station is just a 2-min walk away. The hotel has stunning views of snow-capped mountains from the rooms and the breakfast hall. Breakfast spread was good too.
Perfect location in Grindelwald, on-site paid parking which was handy, overall very clean hostel, nice welcoming staff, simple room and good facilities you would expect in a hostel. Very good breakfast. Walkable distance to Eiger Express and old-town.
Location was a bit far from the train station. need to take a bus to get to the apartment and some of stairs. Might not be suitable is you have large luggage. but overall easy to navigate and manageable. Water pressure was very good. sofa bed might be too small for 2 adults. but overall very cosy space to stay for 2 nights. view is quiet and peaceful. you are literally staying in the famous grindelwald photo spot 梦幻山坡 walkable distance to jungfochjoch station if without luggage.

The Apartment is spacious for two people with small kitchenette. Balcony has a good view of the mountain. It was clean and bed was comfortable. But please note that the apartment is not in Gindlewald, but at Village Schwendi, which is 7 minutes away by train from Grindelwald. Landlady came to meet us at the Schwendi Train Station, from where apartment is at a walking distance of about 7 to 10 minutes. The Apartment is convenient for travelers with car.
It is a unique hotel located right next to the Gondola station to Grindelwald First. It has traditional Switzerland style interriors. The room was large and clean. Also the breakfast which is included in the fee was spectacular and people were very kind. You can also have lunch and dinner at Restaurant alte post in front of the hotel at a reasonable price.
The place is a bit further away from the city center, about 15-20 mins walk from the train station. I appreciate it since that means you get to stay at the quieter side of Grindelwald.
Hotel room is a bit bare, but you have everything you need. They also have a public area where you can use common fridge and microwave.
The breakfast was a nice surprise for us, since we didn't expect the room to come with breakfast. It's basic, but it's nice -- you know how expensive the food in Switzerland is.
Amazing mountain view from the room. Hostel is very clean and washroom is very well maintained like a hotel. Both shower and toilet is right next to the room. Breakfast is also amazing with so many options. It is the best place to stay in Grindelwald on a budget.
