The staff is so cooperative and kind! Our holiday would have been ruined as we found the ski lifts were not operational AFTER we reached Samnaun. However, the staff at the front desk recommended several excursions and tripswhich we took and that was a boon in disguise.
The breakfast spread was sumptuous too.

Very cozy village, nested in the mountains. It has great hotels, nice and very good restaurants. It doesn't have too much noise, so it's excellent to relax. There are frequent buses taking skiers to the resort and Cabine (in winter) and in summer there are great options for hikes and mountain biking. It also offers many tax-free shops.

Lovely village on the quiet side away from the hurly burly of Ischgl. It's a duty free area so if you are in buying mode, it's worth a visit but do shop around. The accommodation and restaurants are not that cheap - but we had amazing service at Garni Collina and a fab location. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and buses to get you around - we didn't have to move our car once. When we left, the petrol was really cheap too!

Nice surroundings with many possibilities to hike. I can recommend the hike to Piz Motnair which was recommended to us by hotel staff and was really worth going there. I presume that is also right place to stay for winter holidays, because you can easily get to ISCHGL ski resort by cabincar from SAMNAUN.

For our family ski trip to Ishgyl, we found that staying at Samnaun was a better option than staying at Ishgyl. The cable car to the slopes is very efficient and avoids the long wait for the gondolas in Ishgyl in the morning (which we have previously experienced). The run to the Samnaun village is also much nicer than the runs down to Ishgyl which sometimes get so icy they become almost impossible for the family to ski.
Buy your groceries in Pfunds (Austria) on the way up. Much more variety and far cheaper than in Samnaun.
Be careful of where the ski apartment is situated. There are some apartments that are a long way from the cable car station and which require either the ski bus or a vehicle to get to the station. Some apartments are genuinely ski in / ski out though.
We liked it. It was clean and cosy and had all the facilities you needed - including a little spa, which was a unexpected surprise. The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. My husband was injured on our first day there and on one occasion when we asked the manager how we could take our children to the ski piste, he very kindly offered to drive us down to the gondola. Going above and beyond to help us. If there was one thing we took away from Samnaun (apart from the beautiful mountains) it was how kind the people were.
Location is good. 10 minutes walk to the ski lift but the hotel also uses shuttles to take you there. Downtown is about 20 minutes walk. But you can take the free bus there during the day. Staff cleans the room daily and really pay attention to details. Sauna room is very easy to schedule and very clean. The free breakfast is buffet style, so you can choose from breakfast sandwich, oatmeal & yogurt. Staff will also serve you coffee and egg of your choice.
Beautiful and spotlessly clean, friendly staff, nice views, free parking, large room with balcony, great restaurant, everything :) you also receive a guest card with free access to the Alpine Therme (Alpenquell) spa, local bus service and cable cars, all over to Ischgl and back (in Summer)! Really good value for money, and in the restaurant we had one of the best Schnitzel in Switzerland.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the location was perfect. The breakfast provided at the hotel was both satisfying and delicious, offering a good variety of options to start the day on a high note. The view from the dining area was superb facing the mountains.
The place is very comfortable. We enjoyed the views from our room, which overlooks the mountain. The room is spacious and has places to store equipment and clothing in case you need some extra room for snow activities. The hotel also offers discounts (or even gives out fo free during summer time) for some activities like spa or cable cars.
The apartment was just perfect, it is a few meters away from the city center of Samnaun (duty free shopping area). The whole flat had nice alpine equipment and it had every necessary tools for cooking and have a great rest after a long day. We really liked the great view from our balcony towards the mountains.
The location was perfect, right next to the Samnaun doubledecker gondola - 5 min walk. The landscape from the balcony was astonishing.
The owner extremely nice and helpfull, always ready to meet our demands. Good kitchen facilities. Ski racks and boot dryer. Also, sauna is a nice bonus.
The "Vue des Alpes Hotel" has a good location. From the postbus stop to walk about 5 minutes.

There was a shower and a toilet. The toilet was not lockable by a fixed door. It was a sliding door. The toilet had a window.

This was one of the finest accommodation we've stayed, ever. Location was ideal (2 min walk from the Bergbahnen Samnaun), the apartment was as big as we needed, quiet, fully equipped, very clean and cozy.
Awesome place with great service, we felt like in a fairytail. It a perfect place for skiing door to door right in hearth of Samnaun. Welness area is large with planty things to do and relax.

Relatively clean, close to one of the slopes, so you can do the last run almost to the hotel following the slope 60. There is no ski lift there though.
