FAQs about hotels in Vancouver

Outstanding Capital of the Outdoors

An outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, Vancouver is sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain is a favourite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.

Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch ‘n’ putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.

Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home ground of the city’s football and American football teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.

With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.

We could go on and on about British Columbia’s largest city and never do it justice, so why not try it for yourself? Booking.com has a fabulous range of accommodation, from hotels near Vancouver Airport in Richmond to downtown B&Bs and motels near each of its ferry ports.

Stanley Park is lovely in the Spring.

Stanley Park is lovely in the Spring. The Lookout was great. The Trolleybus got cancelled, so went on blue hop on and off bus instead. The bus was rather old, and lacking comfort on the rough parts, so wouldn't do that again get better vehicles.

Vancouver is a small but growing. Get a day pass from the Waterfront Station and travel the Skytrain, buses and also the ferry to North Vancouver for a great appreciation of the area. Night walk to Gastown was a great inspire into the founding of the city. Evening bus tour was entertaining to Stanley Park and other places.

    Absolutely loved Vancouver.

Absolutely loved Vancouver. There is so much beautiful scenery around the city, and great food in the city! Would definitely recommend this city to anyone. We drove up to Squamish which was a beautiful drive, where we went rock climbing. Also enjoyed the gondola ride up to Grouse Mountain. Definitely visit Granville market if you're there, and make sure you visit the Marine building too. It's not the cheapest city, particularly for certain activities (Grouse Mountain, Capilano bridge - very pricey), but would still recommend paying this gorgeous city a visit.

Loved the hotel's location which was close to metro (two lines), restaurants, has a large salted pool and gym, and near high-end stores. You are treated very well, as you would expect from a 5 star hotel, and the beds are very comfortable. Vancouver is one of the best cities I ever visited in Canada and there are a lot of things to do inside and outside of the city. Famous celebs and dignitaries have stayed here, so why not you. If I ever get back to British Columbia, the Rosewood Hotel Georgia will be my first choice. Cheers.

The location was exceptional. We were able to have easy access to all districts in downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. We only took a share ride once due to being more than a 30 minute walk. Everything else was practically 10 to 20 minute walk. We were 10 minute walk from Yaletown and Robson street. The hotel was very clean and always received fresh towels. We had breakfast included with our stay. The restaurant staff was excellent and very attentive. If you stay and have breakfast have the tator-tots, they were our favorite!

This is the best place to stay in downtown Vancouver hands down and I’ve never even stayed anywhere else! From first impressions to last this one probably one of my favorite hotel stays. The concierges were incredible and welcoming I never had to lift a finger for doors or elevators. They put complimentary wine in my room for a birthday and the views are stunning! the room itself is so modern and clean, heated floors, led bathroom lights, integrated plug ins for usb on the lamps, just a 10/10 experience!

This was the best location we could have asked for while visiting Vancouver for a few days. The hotel room was immaculate and very clean. Our only complaint was that a lot of water spills out of the shower door during/after showering meaning a wet bathroom floor, however housekeeping ensured we always had an adequate number of fresh towels available so it wasn’t really an issue. I appreciated the coffee machine and water bottle refills.

There is a lovely bar where we enjoyed bar food on the evening of our arrival which was ideal after the fatigue of a long haul flight. We loved the location. 10 minute walk into centre of Downtown Vancouver. We loved the comfortable beds. The house-keeping team were very apologetic when we pointed 0out somethings that were below expected standards of a hotel. The management team were quick in refunding us when we could not stay the full length of our trip - I really appreciated this and this is a sign of good customer service.
