Everything on your doorstep, subway very easy to manage, people soooo friendly. One negative I wouldn't visit niagra falls again very tacky with high prices, train service the one in morning next service nine thirty at night, so really got ripped off 👍. Found a very nasty knife/blade at niagra train station. Younge street the best.

If you can solve the issue of accomodation and traffic then you can enjoy Toronto. More likely you would enjoy visiting a number of sites if you don't drive your own car, by taking public transport and having lots of time.

Overall, a pleasant stay.
Overall, a pleasant stay.
Way too much construction, however.
Local sites. such as the Hockey Hall of Fame, Rogers Center, Ripley's Aquarium, CN Tower & Art Gallery of Ontario all places well worth going to with most being in walking distance of each other.
The Bottom Line Restuarant was our Lunch time venue, service was great.
The 360 Restuarant at the CN Tower was our dinner venue. Such an amazing experience.
If you drive to the downtown & waterfront areas, be sure to add extra time as construction is everywhere.

At the beginning i was hesitate about Toronto City, I grow up in Ottawa and when to Toronto long time ago. Years later I came back to the city and believe me we (Canadians) don't have to envy anything to NY because this is much better.
Love it!!

It is not nice, you do not sleep, there is a lot of talking on the phone in the hall, and the room has a pipe of water in the bathroom, and when I arrived at the apartment, he said to me, “Give me 100€ as a guarantee for a bad apartment.”
What I liked is that the subway nr. 1 is literally under the hotel and you can get to downtown Toronto in ab. 40 minutes (to Union station for ex.) without the need to change to another line.
The room is nice and comfortable and there is a Nespresso machine with free coffee in the room.
I also liked that there are plenty of food options nearby (Greek fast food, pizza, Subway, Starbucks, Asian food), a local supermarket Loblaw is next door, so you can do your shopping easily. There is also a cinema close.
It was so clean, the bathrooms were really beautifully updated! It was 15 minutes from downtown Toronto and close the the TTC if you prefer that form of transportation! Breakfast was good & open early enough on the weekend that we didn’t have to wait to eat/sacrifice complimentary breakfast to get our tourism on. Traveling from the US and I just really appreciated the convenience of everything the hotel offered. We are sure to come back next time we are in Toronto!
My recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown was exceptional. The staff's warm hospitality and professionalism were remarkable. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Toronto allowed for easy exploration - close to walking distance touristic attractions and to subway station, buses and streetcar lines. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. This hotel is a definite winner, and I highly recommend it.
Very nice hotel, Charming, with nice accomodations. But really far from downtown Toronto!
They say you have the possibility to rest but there is no place like a coffee salon or something to have a coffee or tea during the afternoon!
Service not so good, very long in the restaurant. High prices.
We asked to change our room because it was so dark, no light or sun comming in! Very strange !!
Location was great - could walk everywhere in Downtown Toronto, lots of restaurants available in the area, and very accessible coming from the airport (metro station a few meters away).
The hotel itself is comfortable, with spacious rooms, clean, with a good size pool and a gym available from early morning to late at night.
The bed, although way too soft for me, was actually comfortable.
Fast, easy check-in. Received a room situated as requested and paid for. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Staff very nice and accommodating. Food at Turtle Jack's was very good. I usually stay here whenever in Toronto as it is often cheaper than a hotel downtown, and it's easy to get downtown & back with the UP Express. This was a good stay, but not the best we've had.
A great option for a cheaper hotel in Toronto. We originally booked a more expensive hotel by the CN Tower but this was just as good. The rooms are fine, no problems. Decent location near downtown and no complaints really. They even have breakfast which is decent, although there can be queues but that's because of the people taking ages to walk around in line!
The location is great, close to downtown Toronto - walking distance to the main areas. The size and facilities are also good, there is really one room and one side room (open) with another sofa bed that is convenient. The view is nice. Overall, it's a good alternative to the pricier hotels in the neighborhood. The parking spot is also very convenient.
The hotel staff were able to check us in a little earlier and we really appreciate the flexibility since we had to leave for downtown Toronto and wouldn't be back until midnight. The breakfast was conventional American type. I always love hotel breakfast and Holiday Inn doesn't disappoint. We're able to see the taxiway from our room, which is nice.
The hotel is nicely situated right in the heart of downtown Toronto, literally anything that one can need whether a tourist or a resident can immediately find just walking distance.
The room itself was a decent size for 2 people, private, had a cozy environment and furniture and overall clean.
Very well located hotel in downtown Toronto. It is close to several nice restaurants and bars and at walkable (15 min) distance to most attractions.
Hotel lobby as well as the rooftop bar have an amazing atmosphere. Service is outstanding.
Bedding linens are pure cotton comfort.
Comfortable hotel for a reasonable price in downtown Toronto, just off of Queen and quite close to Spadina. Bed was comfortable with a good amount of blankets given off the bat! Room also had a kitchenette which was much appreciated. Staff at front desk were quite friendly as well.
The location of the hotel in the heart of Downtown Toronto was excellent. St. Lawrence Market is just steps away, and we could easily access the historic distillery district as well as the downtown core. The room was clean, staff friendly and would happily stay there again.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and larger than expected. I'm not a fan of valet parking but it was very well executed. Expensive room for no breakfast included but for downtown Toronto location, it was still a better value than comparable hotels.
Despite there being a lot of people in the lobby (I was told this was the hotel with the most rooms in Canada), it was very clean, and the check-in/out was very efficient. Staff were very friendly and rooms were great. It was reasonably priced for Toronto.
I like the location very near to everything. This is my go to hotel whenever im in Downtown Toronto. But there was a recent incident happened towards one of their staff.—— very rude front desk staff named Tristan.
Off the beaten path. College dorms turned into hotel during Off season. There were several students staying on campus. A little noisy from above. Clean dorm. 30 minutes from downtown Toronto.
Sonnesta is my 1st choice when we come to Toronto, we usually travell with our dog and he too likes the hotel., I honestly think it is the best hotel in downtown core value for money one.
