This large home has been tastefully decorated to honour its historic charm. My room was well lit and quiet. I chose to open the screened window rather than use the heat pump provided, which is a nice option. I slept well on a high quality mattress. Self serve tea and coffee is available anytime. Ensuite bathroom is lovely - all amenities provided. The entire home is wonderfully clean and well maintained.
Breakfast was made to order: lovely fruit salad with yogurt and perfectly prepared omelette.

This is a gem. What a delightful surprise. You will love the hosts, sandy and Cathy and all the outstanding extras that they provide to make your stay a memorable one! You don’t find hotels like this very easily.
We loved staying at this historic home in Pictou! Our hosts were very attentive and charming! We loved a bountiful breakfast served in a very quaint front room. We also enjoyed the parlor for socializing and resting. The home is so close to the Hector Heritage Quay (museum), the waterfront, some excellent restaurants and a lively entertainment tent (set up for the summer tourist season). Highly recommend!
