The location was amazing for the price and convenience. It’s right in Banff downtown, so I was easily to about visiting nearby shops and go to the cascade gardens :) There were also convenient walking trails for morning walks that I appreciated the additional fresh air. Also, the breakfast was nice to get the extra protein before I started my day, and the sleeping quarters in the female dorm was quaint, peaceful and clean, loved my stay here

Perfect location. Right next to Cascade of Time Garden. Close access to Banff streets and trails alongside the Bow River. We booked a room with a private washroom. It is clean. The price is friendly, despite the peak season.

Location was perfect, loved being so close to cascade gardens, bow falls and into downtown Banff. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. We paid for a room with own bathroom and that was basic but exactly what we needed.

What guests said about Cascade:

  • Johnson's Canyon is easy, but it's crowded and paved.

Johnson's Canyon is easy, but it's crowded and paved. Instead, hike to the Cascade Amphitheatre, or up to Sentinel Pass (near Lake Louise). Those will give you far more enjoyment for your time.
