Lovely location, close to the slopes and shops (few mins walk) but tucked away in the forest for a bit of tranquility. Great that we as an extended family could all have our own apartments but be close to each other on the same floor.

Probably good for beginners (less than 3 trips). Anything more and you’ll be bored after a day. Resprt is dreadful - like Blackpool on ice. No atmosphere, just bars, average restaurants and limited skiing.
Two good things - Rila hotel is lovely, and Victoria restaurant is a gem amongst some very basic food offerings

Borovets is a great place for families looking for a ski vacation. It's not to hard to get to from Sofia airport. Just 77 minutes away from the airport. The town felt safe and quiet even at night ( at least where we stayed). It has a green slope which is ideal for beginners. The blue and green slopes are right next to each other. This enabled me to see my daughter ski on the blue slope while I used the easier green slope which was too easy for her. The lift is safe and efficient. The slopes are wide enough to accommodate all the skiers without feeling too crowded. There are lots of good options for ski lessons and equipment. Personally I recommend Ollie Moly Ski school and rental. One piece of advice: don't change money to BGN in the airport. You get a much better rate by changing in Borovets. There are plenty of change stores in the town. The town is very close to the ski slopes. There are plenty of places to buy food

Beautiful slopes and lots of chairs available high on the mountains. It is however extremely crowded at the bottom gondola. It opens at 8:30 but at that time the queue is already very long and it's going slowly. We spent almost 45-60 mins staying in the queue at the bottom gondola. Also, the closing time is 4:30 PM. We would have expected that during Febr when the day is longer that they will be open much later than that.

Slopes were not well maintained, especially after it snowed overnight. They would become bumpy quickly after start of the day. Lifts timinings are also stange - cabin starts at 8 am, while Yastrebec Express at 8:30, so if one wants to go up - you have to wait very long time at Mid Station. I think it would be a great idea to leave 2 or 3 cabins empty, every now and then, so people waiting at mid statuon can board quicker.

The resort has seen better days.
The resort has seen better days. As a native from Bulgaria we can see the hordes of people hitting the slopes during the winter(when we visit) and if you plan to visit during the weekend - don't, you will ruin your experience. We are talking about 20minute waits on lifts, no space to walk due to lack of parking spaces to handle the traffic load and so. Week days are still calm and you can actually enjoy it. Another tip - if you want to eat, go to the near by town Samokov(5min drive) instead of eating on the slopes. It costs as much as 50% less and the food is better.
We very much enjoyed everything about this hotel. From the diversified breakfast to the spa which had an amazing pool with jacuzzi and glass roof.
Staff was kind and helpful.
In each day the room was cleaned, towels were changed if needed and we did not had any worries about the warmthness.
Hotel is situated in a quiet zone of Borovets, don’t expect to have a 2 minute walk to the center. But this is not an inconveniece because you will have a free shuttle to bring you to and in from center.
The staff were caring and made sure check-in was arranged even after midnight. The studio was well equipped with cutlery and a microwave, warm, and had a terrace with a nice view. The location was ideal for me as it was a 6-minute walk to Smokov Hotel where I attended an event. The lift is another 5 minutes away. Parking right in front of Park Villa was possible, but I assume it gets very busy in peak season. Overall, the place exceeded my expectations and is a great value for money!
Gabriela and Mario were very nice to everyone, always there to help. The Hotel Boutique is looking awesome, from the style and the furniture to the plates. Clearly, it was a great investment. The food is fresh and delicious, the deserts, especially the cake made with yogurt, honey, nuts, and blueberries!!! 🤩🤩🤩 the ladies from cleaning did their job very well. I totally recommend this hotel boutique, very cozy, clean, beautiful and the food very tasty.
We loved everything.... The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The Location of the Hotel is GREAT but you must have a car to get there. Also the route wasn't good so be prepared to take a lot of holes to arrive there. The maximum velocity on road is 90 but we were a lot on 50... so it takes long time to arrive anywhere. The city of Borovets is 3 km from the Hotel and it is very nice this time of the year but almost everything was closed.
Moura hotel breakfast is wow 😲. The rooms are clean, the sauna is great. The location is in the middle of Borovets, so it's very close to the gondola and about 5min walk to the other ski lifts. There is a pool table and board games that is really nice to spend time after the ski if you are tired and don't want to go to a bar. The value for money is great compared to other alternatives in Borovets.
A wonderful place to stay near the MTB trails in Borovets! The hotel offers top-notch amenities and services. The room was comfortable, the service was excellent, and the location was perfect for cycling excursions. Thanks to this fantastic base, we had amazing mountain adventures and look forward to our next vacation here!
the sweetest host! a little bit of a language barrier that was easily fixed with google translate. the house was a bit far from the main hotel zone in Borovets. for us it was perfect and quiet. It is located a walking distance from the lifts. in the house there is a full kitchen with everything needed. really recommend
While there was no snow during our stay in the hotel, i can say that the spacious rooms and the great breakfast made us forget all about it. The sauna made up for more than the lack of snow and we had time to walk around Borovets by using the hotels shuttle bus.
All in all i would say it was a great experience
Great Location
Nice clean studio prefect for skiers. Behind Rila hotel.
Kitchen is fully equipped.
250 m from gondola
250 m from Martinovi Baraki chairlift.
Marina is great host.
Private parking available in garage 20 leva ~10 Eur per day
In Iglika 2 building there are 4 shops for ski rent
This hotel is a way better than 5-start hotel in the same location! It is cleaner, cozy, all is renovated clean and neat, the pool and the spa area are superb and the variety if half board choices at the breakfasts and dinners was very good. Even my child who is a food picker was truly enjoying.
The best part is the food provided - great quantity and good quality, different every day. The hotel is located 15 min. away by walk from the town center, away from the crowd and noise. The indoor pool is good but small for the size of the resort and it gets crowded. Has a nice free sauna.
The location is great, near the ski lifts and chairlifts. The hotel is nice. Equipment rentals and ski schools can be found left and right of the main entrance of the hotel. The room was also nice with a beautiful forest view and 2 balconies. Warm and clean.
Very nice hotel - simple but cozy and clean, quiet, some activities to do after skiing like ping-pong,sauna and some other games, variety for breakfast and dinner with tasty food, shuttle to the slopes. 10 min walk to the center of Borovets.
Right from the start, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They offered to help with our luggage and gave advice on what to do in Borovets! I felt just like at home, as the room was very cozy and clean!
