The location is amazing, very close to Tsarevets Fortress. There are also many nice restaurants nearby. A great bonus is the terrace on the top floor with a perfect view. However, it's a pity that the reception lady didn't tell us about the Sound and Light show. We accidentally went up to the terrace during the show once and managed to see literally a minute of it.

I had a room on the third floor, very large, with a round bed and a sofa. The room also had a balcony overlooking the city. The conditions were good for a three-star hotel. The breakfast was good, but not spectacular. The pool is small but pretty. There is also a very nice outdoor garden. The staff was very kind. There is also an underground parking for 4 cars.

Really great little hotel sympathetically restored with care and love by its owner with high quality furniture and fittings. The breakfast is a cut above most very good for gourmets less so probably for fans of standard fare. The staff are particularly helpful and courteous with English much much better than my Bulgarian
