We had a short overnight break in Geelong to see the two superb exhibits (linked tickets available) currently at the Geelong Gallery: Archie 100 and an overview of the work of Fred McCubbin. More than worth the trip! Geelong Gallery is a beautiful light filled gallery at any time with a fine permanent collection and changing exhibitions. Just a step across the park from the train and bus depot!
