Not only is the there large noisy more commercialised Rathaus market, but all the older smaller markets as on the Freyung by the Schottenkirche, which includes the Charity and organic markets with alternative goodies to taste and buy.
There are a few Christmas markets in Vienna but the main one is behind the Rathaus which is one of the most stunningly beautiful buildings I've seen and made for a fabulous backdrop!
