We stayed at the hotel with two children. The accommodation is easily accessible, the city centre is a 10-15 minute easy walk away. The environment itself is a wonder, quiet and peaceful. Our room was on the top floor with a view of the mountains. There are numerous hiking opportunities in the area, which are easy to explore with children.
The accommodation also has a room for children to play in, with everything from baby toys to a games console, so after long hikes the kids could relax there after dinner.
The owners and all the staff were indescribably kind and helpful, any questions/requests we had were met.
What I would like to highlight is the food itself! At dinner we only had the salad bar buffet, the menu consisted of soup, starter, main course and dessert. For the main course, there was a choice of 2 dishes + 1 vegetarian dish. The table setting itself was a big plus, but the food was particularly delicious, tastefully presented and in such quantity that there was often no room for dessert. :) The children also had a variety of dishes to choose from, so there was plenty of variety for them too.
I heartily recommend it to everyone regardless of age, because anyone can find the option that fills them up the most and the staff at this hotel are there to help to the max.

Ramsau is amazing, beautiful scenery, many restaurants and attractions, especially for kids. The local Erlebnisbad (aquacenter) is amazing, nearby Rittisberg is absolutely wonderful for kids. Many lifts closeby within a short driving distance, the Dachstein main lift basically right in Ramsau.

Very good location with plenty of choices if you like hiking, ferrata (klettersteig in Germain), running, or skiing. I stayed here with 10year old daughter and we could find lots of activities together and she liked it as I did.

if u want to visit it u need to book your Gondola seat (ascent and descent) at this website https://www.derdachstein.at
for an extra it is possible to visit also the ice palace! it is very interesting! inside u can find many ice sculptures!
but pay attention because if u want to visit it u need to cross the suspended bridge! and if you suffer from vertigo ... but it is a unique experience!!!

During our stay, we visited Rittisberg coaster, Silberkar watterfalls and finally magnificient Dachstein. It was all great, lots of hiking trails. Just be careful - it's nearly impossible to buy anything anywhere on Sunday and restaurants are closing usually around 18pm. Otherwise we liked everything!

Several restaurants with excellent typical austrian food, but kitchen closes usually at 20.30h latest. Stunning panorama when good weather, amazing views onto Dachstein mountain. Plenty of walking and hiking tours available, including climbing. Prices are comparable to Germany, so not a cheap location but worth the money.

The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Ramsau, just a few steps from the stadium where all the cross-country tracks do start. The hotel offers free parking and upon entering, you are welcomed by more than attentive staff. The breakfast is absolutely fabulous and more than rich. We also dined at the hotel and all the meals were greatly cooked and meticulously designed and prepared. The wellness is great and offers plenty of possibilities to relax.
The wellness area is really good. Very clean and peaceful and larger than expected. The view is unbelievably beautiful. Walking routes start in front of the hotel. Perfect. We felt very welcome. Very friendly and helpful staff. The massage deserves a special mention. The best I have ever had.
Fantastic family hotel close to Schladming and Planai ski slopes. Catering was delicious every day, spa facilities nice and clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and staff very friendly. Also views from the hotel are stunning. Definitely a place to return.
The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming... The breakfast was tasty and varied... The room was clean, big and modern, with a super comfortable bed... The hotel is very easily reachable by bus and it is next to the cross-country slopes...
