Wonderful Stay with Excellent Hospitality and Prime Location

Soon, this will be an impressive focal point for the city again. Right now, though, it's just a huge construction site. So skirt round it, being careful of the traffic, to visit the National History Museum or catch a performance at the National Theatre. Or climb the clock tower to view the work in progress and the equestrian statue of national hero, Skanderbeg.

This is lovely and a must for Tirana. This is the main hero of Albania. It's a really quaint square with a carrousel. You can get to all points in the center from here. I recommend the restaurant pastaria.

This was the centre of the universe during our visit.
This was the centre of the universe during our visit. While we were in Tirana they were setting up a fun fair for the Christmas season. It was also during the football world cup, so they set up a giant screen and fanscene. We watched an England game with some local young men, very friendly and respectful.

The Square has been "remodeled" over the past 5 years. It's attractive, Listening to 1 of the talented traditional music who play there was a high point of our visit. The Libraria Adrion Bookstore next to the Opera House is wonderful, and has a good selection of books in Italian, German, and English for visitors,

Gorgeous apartment with parking which was a huge positive. Located right next to Skanderbeg Square - fantastic location whilst still being very quiet. We loved our stay here.
The apartment was spotless - bathroom, towels, bed-linen, kitchen and dining area. We didn't use much the kitchen but it has everything needed, including dish-washer, oven. We were even left some instant coffee that came in very handy in the morning.
The common area of the block is also clean and well lit, with a working elevator and even fire safety door.
The location is very central - just some 400m from the Skanderbeg square.
Fabulous location next to the new bazaar and many bars and restaurants. Very close to Skanderbeg square and the intercity/airport buses are less than 10 minutes walk away. The host’s father met us and showed us to the apartment - such a lovely gentleman, very helpful and friendly. Apartment was clean and spacious and well equipped. Perfect for a short stay in Tirana
Really spacious apartment! Ideal location, only 2 minutes walk to Skanderbeg square. Also very convenient to park the rental car in the parking garage underneath the square (if you can find a free spot) for only 5 euro per 24 hours.

A 5 minute walk from Skanderbeg Square, with shops & markets on your doorstep. The hosts were really friendly & welcoming, the apartment was spotless & communication excellent, especially if you’re a Luddite like me with very little knowledge of the Albanian language!
We loved our short stay at the hotel very much. Located centrally in a beautiful building, only a short walking distance from Skanderbeg Square. The room was phantastic, super clean, very spacious, with a very comfortable bad and spacious and clean bathroom, too. The staff were super friendly and professional.
The buffet breakfast in the morning was also more than fine, with a very good variety offered.
Really good location 10 min walk from skanderbeg square to hotel and the man on desk was helpful and let me check in 30 min early as room was ready, nice little bar and outside patio area wasn't there really long enough to see everything as was my 5th hotel stay during my 11 nights in country. Wll definitely be coming bk to albania.
There was a decent amount of choice for breakfast and the food in itself tasted good.
I stayed in a double room and was very impressed with the size of the room. It was huge. The décor in the room was quite impressive too. The en-suite bathroom was clean and had a nice appearance.
The location of the hotel was excellent. Right in the centre of Tirana and very close to Skanderbeg Square. Also within a few minutes walk from some of the major bus walks.

We didn't meet the host in person but was friendly and responsive through Whatsapp. Price was great! Would really recommend this to anyone looking to explore Tirana!
