Also the restaurants dining in have the best burj background for photos and videos, especially the fountain show in the evenings!

Getting there by taxi is the cheapest.
Getting there by taxi is the cheapest. But I found it very difficult to get a taxi on the streets. You install Careem or Uber and both have hidden charges which you will only realise when you check your credit card bill. On the way back from the Dubai mall, the taxi and limousines are available but these drivers are racist. If you're White, you are privileged to take the first ride, if not you have to wait till one desperate fellow take you on one.
Shame. Limousine ride from Dubai mall to Downtown costs 80 dirhams on a limousine. Taxi from Downtown to Dubai mall only costs 14.5 Dirhams. Transport by limousines are very expensive, the most I have paid when I have travelled to other countries. To me Dubai Mall is a combinations of Sunway Mall, KLCC and Midvallley Mall in KL all put together. Nothing so great about it

Its masive and exhausting, but with ice rink and massive aquarium with sharks and stingrays, you will not find find a mall like this in the world and a waterfall as well, food courts, good transport links, shop till you drop, all air conditioned, linked with sky view ,a floor with a view and slide down side of building a scary experience for some. Burj Khalifa near mall. This mall has everything and busy with people from all over the world. Never seen a mall like this ever.

Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur.
Well, nothing beats Dubai Mall when it comes to grandeur. I love that it has a man-made waterfalls that could even rival that of Changi Airport in Singapore. They also have the ice skating rink inside the mall. And of course, the world famous Dubai Aquarium.
For me personally, my go to place at the Dubai Mall is the Kinokuniya Bookstore. I love love love love this bookstore. I wish we have similar to this in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Must-see attraction in Dubai.
Must-see attraction in Dubai. It is one of the world's top shopping and dining attraction. It has its unique location adjacent to the world's tallest building "burj Khalifa". You can watch a free dancing fountain light show in the evening while walking or dining in front of burj khalifa. 1000s of shopping options 100s of dinning choices. Lots of fun for all family members. It is in the heart of downtown that provides great walk option during good weather.

Large rooms, great view and high quality interior and exterior design. Imperial package is worth the price because it makes the stay like all-inclusive. Great food at the imperial lounge. I didn’t want to leave the hotel because it already has a mall and an aquarium (no need to visit Dubai mall lol). There are like 10 restaurants, cafes, I even smoked hooked in 2 different places within the hotel. The aqua park is a real deal and it’s really enjoyable for hours with kids. The beach is also good.
Good location with Burj Khalifa view from the room. Excellent breakfast, very surprised about variety. 24 hours room service food, I ordered a margarita pizza very late at night and it was delicious. The staff is very kind. You can arrange your trips and get the tickets from the hotel. There is shuttle to Dubai Mall.
The location of the hotel is superb! There is just a 5-minute walk to enter China town on the first floor of the Dubai mall.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were so polite and tried their best to meet your expectations. The room was designed in modern fashion and had a balcony with Khalifa Tower. At night, there was also an exhilarating experience to see the fountain dancing with light from the balcony.

The location is absolutely amazing
The Hotel was very clean, the staff were all friendly and best in customer service. The hotel location was very accessible to City Walk and Dubai Mall and that makes it amazing. The free shuttle makes everything worth the stay.
My sister and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel from the get go. I would like to highlight great help and hospitality of the staff, a huge thanks to Fattah and Islam, for accommodating our family. We were given a room from the highest floor with an amazing view. I can recommend this place for their cleanliness, location (15min drive from Dubai mall), staff, parking, pool.
This property was indeed magnificent. The direct view of Burj khalifa and dubai mall was breathtaking. The apartment was clean and spacious we especially loved the direct access from the apartment to dubai mall. Special thanks to Harish for assisting us and making the check in and check out process fast and smooth. We will definitely come back again.
This is my second time staying at Roda Al Murooj. I love the area which is in walking distance from the Dubai Mall and the breakfast was great! It was the perfect area for shopping and night life. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. We booked the apartment and it was so much room. The room needs to be updated but it was well worth the price.

Al Hallab for best Lebanese food (Emirates and Dubai Mall or original on Al Garhoud Road)
Avoid hotel restaurants if you can do without the Alcohol. Food quality and value is better. Alcohol is available in venues attached to hotels only and carry hefty services charges and premiums. Some local options provide a better more cultural experience and value for money. For example, go to Ravi Indian Restaurant if you like Indian. Go to Istanbul Flower on Sheikh Zayed (Next to Safestway) for best Turkish (Try Iskender). Al Hallab for best Lebanese food (Emirates and Dubai Mall or original on Al Garhoud Road). Another good Lebanese option is Al Safadi on Al-Rigga Road in Deira). For best steaks I recommend the JW Mariott in Deira. For good Asian go to Wagamama. For Persian Food go to Sadaf on Sheikh Zayed or in Deira.
