The redwood forest walk with night lights ended up being my favorite activity. Chloe called my international number when I didn’t respond to an email asking at about what time I was arriving due to poor WIFI to make sure my room would be ready upon arrival. Laundry facilities on site—NZ$8 for wash and dry with NZ$2 coins available at reception. Strong WIFI Simple but comfortable rooms. Very clean. Very central—five minutes walk to Tourist Office/Central Bus Station. Close to cafes; spas; restaurants. Practice environmental sustainability.

At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Amazing stay with the most wonderful hosts. Their garden around the property is amazing, which should already be a big reason to spend some time there.

The little apartment is spotless clean and has everything you need (shampoo, body lotion, hairdryer, even cosmetic products! and more). The bed was super comfy and the TV with Netflix a great plus. The kitchenette is well equipped - you can cook a meal if you want. There was everything that you can hope for breakfast (bread, spreads, nespresso machine, Granola, Yoghurt, milk etc). All in all a wonderful accommodation :)

Guests can benefit from a balcony and a barbecue. The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The host, Frank, met us upon arrival and handed over the keys. He showed us around the space and was very helpful in suggesting activities, hikes and restaurants nearby. The space itself was quite spacious and lovely. We enjoyed the front patio that included two chairs and a small table as well as the hot tub. Frank provided some items so we could make breakfast, which was quite convenient and kind. Having a washer/dryer machine in our unit was also great. Note that the dryer takes a really long time to dry, but hey, turn it on overnight and you'll have fresh dry clothes in the morning! I would definitely consider staying here again. Just a few minutes' walk to the beach.
