A fitness centre is also available on-site. There are so many great things about this hotel… the beautiful view from our balcony, the beach being on our doorstep, the big immaculately clean room… but I have to say the staff made our stay even better. the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across - from the housekeeping to the front of house and the lovely staff at breakfast who made us feel really welcome and made a huge fuss of our 1 year old every morning at breakfast!

It is very well staffed so that there was ALWAYS someone to meet any need. Whether in the dining room or attending to our room, they could not do enough for us! And the breakfast was amazing!

Merton Hotel has a unique Aquadome, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, steam room and hot tub. There is also a surf machine, fitness centre and tennis court.
My wife and I stayed at the Merton Hotel from 11th to 16th September 2021 and we had a marvelous time. The hotel itself, the location and all of the staff met with our expectations and we were really made welcome by all the staff, without exception. I would certainly recommend the Merton to friends and family alike and we will be planning to return again for a further vacation on Jersey and at the Merton.

With free parking and free WiFi throughout, it is directly on the island’s bus route. Nice swimming pool, very good staff and not too far from Downtown(15min walking). Nice clean room and a good bed.

We really liked our room. Spacious, well equipped and clean. Perfect for access to the spa. Enormous bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Plenty of towels and shower gel etc. Coffee and tea making facilities and also iron/board. Air-conditioning also handy as weather quite warm during our stay. Spa was very nice with pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Plenty of sun beds indoor and out. Lovely changing facilities with all amenities.
I loved the view of the room, just over St. Berlades Bay, and the spa facilities, especially the sauna and jacuzzi. We had dinner in the bar/ lounge, which has such a lovely environment and also the breakfast was very good.
Lovely boutique hotel with very friendly owner & staff who made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely twin room on the top floor, with views over St Helier, the port & sea, with a large bathroom (also with a window). Beautifully furnished with tea & coffee making facilities and a mini-bar fridge making it a perfect retreat after our trips around the island. We made use of the downstairs lounge and garden for drinks and relaxing in the evening before heading up to our room.
Staff were friendly and very helpful, made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was great with a good freshly cooked selection. Big room with huge comfy bed and plenty of good pillows, basic furnishings but had everything you needed including a good hair dryer. Bar and lounge areas spacious and relaxing. The staff make this hotel a nice place to stay I would definitely return if certain things were updated and modernised.

Well situated with lots of available parking. Close to lovely Millennium park and city centre. The pool area and indoor spa a little constricted but welcome areas to relax in. Pool itself is a decent size and nice to swim in. Communal areas clean and well decorated. Breakfast a little limited but ok. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Rooms are on the tired and dated side but family room was spacious and bathroom modern and properly appointed.

The room was large with a lovely bathroom ensuite. Good to provide a fan during the hot weather. Good range of breakfast. Good room with microwave and facilities for almost self catering. Guest lounge was spacious. Location is superb. Beach, bus stop, quiet, restaurants within15 min walk. Amazing cafe The Kitchen very close.
The hotel is well maintained and very attractive inside and out. The room was a generous size and well equipped with a nicely fitted bathroom. The public rooms were also comfortable and relaxing spaces. We really enjoyed our evening meal which was very tasty and good value.
Liked - everything. Wanted to heal from a particularly stressful period at work, and this was the place to do it. Staff couldn’t have been more accommodating or pleasant, surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Few steps to the beach and harbour, an Evie bike Location right there, and Jersey zoo up the hill. A couple of great eateries (Pub and Hungry Man) if you don’t eat in. The food at the hotel was delicious. The room was super-comfortable, slept really well and lovely jacuzzi bath!
