Though the hotel seems a bit dated, esp the bath room area, the room is clean, and the bed comfy, friendly staff, these are the major credits for a brief night's stay. Clarion features a nice atrium and other amenities like fitness room, pools, etc. Free breakfast is a plus.

This is our 3rd stay at this location. It is convenient to several outdoor activities, hiking, biking and the Colorado National Monument. We enjoy the in room hot tub after our days activities.
Stayed here January 31st I will never stay here again the bed was full of black hair when I pulled back the covers. The pool and the hot tub were very disgusting so dirty. Went down to get me and my kids breakfast that morning and everything was covered in ants all while the frontdesk clerk just sat at his computer and never did anything about it. I will for sure be calling the health department.
Hot tub and pool were great. The hotel was clean everywhere and reasonably priced for 1 night. The Continental breakfast was adequate. We didn’t leave hungry.
Really helpful and friendly staff. Facilities are good, room was spacious and clean and included a fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking snd restaurants within walking distance. Manager was very helpful.
The breakfast provided was perfect for active folk. Hard-boiled eggs, apples, bananas, trail bars, milk, and much more. Ice machine was holding its own in 104 degree heat and the AC kept us cool for a good night's sleep.
New sun-sails over the outdoor space are very nice.
We really enjoyed our stay at Balanced Rock Inn due to the cool decor, comfortable bed and great Wi-Fi. Our room was spacious and very clean, highly recommended
It's a standard La Quinta with a nice indoor pool and hot tub. They do have a pet fee but it was reasonable. The location is a little far from downtown but its got access to walking trails and easy access to the National Monument. The staff were helpful and very informative about the local area.
