I loved this place! it is my dream home, surrounded by greenery and hills.
Our room was simple but spaciuos, clean and tidy with a big bathroom and a very comfortable bed. There is a small kitchen equipped all what is needed, the breakfast was very nice! even if we stayed for one night only, we felt like home!
a plus is the hot pool iacuzzi in the garden, fantastic! the surrounding garden is so lovely and the cat is adorable!
The BnB is 10 minutes by car from Matamata town and around 15 minutes from Hobbitton movie set.

This was a fantastic place for our stay, and we are repeat visitors. Quiet, beautiful view of neighboring horse farms, lots of birds and flowering trees. Bed was very comfortable, parking was easy, clothes washer and dryer were a great bonus. Kitchen facilities were a nice touch for a longer stay. The owners were very nice and responsive when we asked for a shower mat because the shower tile was too slippery for our comfort. Breakfast cereals and snacks were a very nice touch too!

Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
First night we stayed at queen room (because of mistake) and it was okay. The next day we stayed at chalet and it was so much better, really recommend to choose this option.

The location is amazingly beautiful. The host had everything in place- there was a heater in the bathroom too. The kitchen was very good and there was a wonderful list of bread for us. The place was very comfortable and spacious.

The Hot Springs were fabulous, clean and relaxing, when we went down we were the only ones.
The changing room and the toilet down at the hot springs were nothing special but clean and functional.
Our Queen Room in the heritage wing was spacious and clean with a nice rustic charm.

Food at the bar in the afternoon was great and really large portions.
Nice breakfast, we stayed in a room that had a spa out the back so was amazing to relax in at the end of the day.
Perfect location to get away from the city life. Golf course across the road for a bit of fun too.
The bed was extremely comfortable and firm and linen was crispy clean. Spa bath was great entertainment for kids. The hot springs were beautiful, just need to keep kids in arms as too deep for them to stand in (except the very warm bath that is shallow). Truly beautiful venue!
The room was spotlessly clean, the thermal pools were relaxing and private and our own spa was a lovely surprise. Some reviewers have said the decor needs an upgrade but I loved the heritage.
