Cosy hotel in a lovely little town. The restaurant was good and the (extra cost) buffet breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Located in the beautiful Breiddalur Valley, Eyjar Fishing Lodge arranges fishing, hiking and horse riding activities. It has a hot tub, sauna and guest lounge with panoramic valley views.
Stepping into a hot tub and relaxing in its warm water is bliss. If you opt for a hotel with a jacuzzi, you can do this any time you like – morning, afternoon, or evening. Some hotels offer guests private hot tubs, while others have a shared jacuzzi that’s usually part of a wellness spa.
Breakfast and food served at the Cafe was good. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Room was tidy and spacious. With all necessities nearby.
Simon the puffin on the front desk/bar was also nice.
Absolutely beautiful apartment with an enormous amount of space for guests. The host was lovely enough to keep the hot tub on for our late check in. Would have no hesitation staying here yet again.
It was quite isolated but it suited our needs. We could hike. It was quiet and we loved the hot tub on a blustery windy night. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Basic room but warm and comfortable. Bathroom is fine with good shower.
All tea coffee and fridge and plates cutlery are in the pleasant and warm common room plus it has books and games and a big table.
The included buffet breakfast was very good and the cafe has a view of the fjord. Nice helpful host.
The location is great, beautiful views. Plenty of space to spread out. Easy to get into with self check in. The washer/ dryer were helpful for us. The bird watching hut in front was really neat, lots of birds to view.
we loved the cafe in front of the guesthouse, breakfast was delicious and a huge variety! room was perfectly clean with an excellent view and private bathroom
great stay in an awesome location. hot tub is an amazing addition as we could see the aurora ehile relaxing in hot water. very good kitchen facilities.
We had a small own room with separate entrance outside the building. It had a small water heater with tea and coffee and our own spacious bathroom. The hosts made it possible for us to have breakfast in our room, which is otherwise served in the main building / café. This was great and and also had vegan options (butter, spread and cheese!). Thank you very much for your hospitality.
