The property was flawless: clean and functional, with a great balance of modern and traditional features. The garden was stunning with flowers, trees, plenty of seating areas and views looking out over the nearby hills, not to mention the hot tub! The host was welcoming and respectful, and it was only a 15 minute drive from Bristol city centre - overall it was the ideal break away.

stunning surrounding countryside, close to pubs and local village with all its amenities. the hut is small but perfectly formed with everything you should need. the owner was charming and helpful but unobtrusive.

Great location to access most of what Bristol has to offer. Lots to keep kids occupied both inside the house and out. Friendly and communicative hosts with some nice touches (we travelled over Halloween with two kids and they had left a couple of pumpkins and a carving kit for example). Easy dedicated parking. There is a bit of road noise as it is an older house and it is located on a busy B road, but, it didn’t bother us at all.

The thing that stood out the most was the staff…so friendly, down to earth and most helpful. In particular Ella, Eli and Natalie were superb at their job and full of great personality. The hotel itself is very modern with fantastic leisure centre/gym. The beds were also very comfortable 🙂
