It was clean and the air-conditioner worked. Also, the lady that owns the guest house was available available to do my laundry.
Our stay with Win was lovely. She was very welcoming, went out her way to sort our dinner, sorted breakfast and personally took us to the airport. What a gem! The rooms are fairly basic but you do not need anything more. Thank you for having us.
The staff was very nice. When we arrived, the owner was in town so her daughter greeted us and showed us our room. They let us borrow their personal motorbike to go eat dinner somewherewhich was very sweet because there's nothing walkable. Shower water pressure was good. Free ride to airport. The information book in the room had good info on what to do in the area but we only had 11 hours.
We picked the Hop Inn, on our way back from the Islands, as it was 15 minutes walk to the train station and had plenty of food and drink options nearby. We've never tried one before but would happily use Hop again, nice staff, nice room, and we both agreed that the bed was one of the most comfortable we've ever had in Thailand.
Our cottage overlooking the sea was full of wonderful character and there were lots of helpful touches, like a small broom, umbrella and lots of hanging hooks in bathroom. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and drinks brought to our little outdoor sitting area 😁
The people were awesome! Helped to get me from the pier since I arrived late, and still took me to get dinner. The room was so lovely and cosy! Super clean. They arranged airport transport for me and even got me a little breakfast on the way 😍🥹 I really loved it and wished I'd stayed longer
Right in front of Thung Wua Laen Beach, so nice to wake up early and see the sunrise! Spacious and very quiet room. Very nice owner and staff, good food at dinner, lucky to enjoy the blues band on Wed night! Interesting art gallery on site.
The hostel is beautifully located shortly outside the center underneath palm trees. The owners are very kind and helped me with my ferry transfer to Koh Tao and all other questions related to dinner and breakfast (you can order food directly to your room via Grab Food and there is a very cute café close to the hostel for breakfast). Very clean room with balcony and fridge with beverages and snacks to buy. Still water is free!
Stayed for one night, on the way to the south. As others have said, it needs some refurbishment. However, the rooms are big and clean, and everything is provided. Bed was huge, I have stayed in rooms that were smaller than their king bed. Food was also good, both dinner and breakfast. Large estate, nicely decorated. Staff very nice and helpful.
