The staff were lovely and the village is breathtaking. Without doubt one of the best experiences we had had in Oman. Can’t recommend it enough. We stayed for four days and used the guesthouse as a base to explore other attractions such as the Balcony Walk on Jebel Shams and Jabrin Castle.

Excellent location in the heart of the village. They were kind enough to offer to drive our car down into the village to drop our luggage off so we didn’t have to walk it down.

Authentic place hotel and surroundings, staying there you can feel the history, more of that it's a good location to travel to Jabal Shams and nearby surroundings. The host was friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner was good and delicious. The host owner is a woman from Germany and You can really feel how everything is kept in good hands. And we loved the dogs ! best wishes for Bella, Pancito, Mindi 😀
Close to Nizwa old center, 15 minute walk by a quite street with taylor shop and mosques. It's a beautiful big omanite home with 4 rooms for guest a quite garden with a warm swimming pool. You can find private parking spaces ( we have a big suv and we park without problem) a big kitchen if you want to have your dinner by yourself and a large sofa area to relax. The owner is kind and send you all you need by wathapp before arrive and give you info about sorronding areas. Stay here far from Niwza traffic in a silent green area.
We stayed one night at the Bait Al Aali Guesthouse, it’s a wonderful and stylish building and interior. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty, free parking is nearby and the owner is very hospitable and friendly (and amazing pictures on the wall from her own collection). Special place to spend some time in this old sheik’s home in between ruins of the old village, palm trees and enjoy the lovely roodtop terrace with 3 lovely house dogs (Mindy, Bella and Panchito) roaming around.

Fantastic place. Great quiet location away from the noise, beautiful views. The rooms have all the amenities. The best part - the manager Hamza. Very sweet and accommodating. Also makes amazing dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again

This 3 bedroom guest house is set on the edge of the Jebel Shams canyon, just above the start of the W6 balcony walk. The view is stupendous from the 2 front rooms. The room is value for money. The addition of an outdoor chair from which to admire the view was welcome. It had a good range of English language TV channels which was welcome. The set dinner was delicious with a variety of dishes and the breakfast was good too. The bed was very comfortable. Our host Mossan could not do enough for us: he was extremely helpful and obliging.
Bustan Inn has the perfect location, just down the street with all the lights and coffee shops. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and the breakfast is great. The bonus is the plunge pool.
Excellent location right in the Nizwa Souk area. Very nicely appointed rooms in the traditional style of the area. The staff were warm & friendly & both breakfast & dinner at the restaurant were nice.
wonderfully built in old historic family house. lot of rustic Charme! nothing better to get an idea of how people lived here during last centuries. it wasn’t altered too much so prepare to hear noises from inside the hotel and the road as well. but that shouldn’t put you off, it’s just a perfect stay. dinner was very nice and affordable (3 OR pP)
