Very clean, spacious, I had a private balcony, very quiet, so you sleep really well. It’s a bit further away from town, but the owners’ family will try their best in giving you rides. They pick you up from the train station (check the price though) and I also really liked the breakfast and the dinner, even though both seem quite pricey compared to what I’ve had so far. You really feel at home at their place and the owner’s cousin Chaami is an amazing tour guide and showed me some of the best places for a very fair price, thank you! Would definitely stay again

The rooms have a safety deposit box. We had an incredible time! They prepared the most amazing food for us. During our stay they arranged multiple tours for us to all the places we wanted to see for fair prices. They made us feel like home. We would highly recommend staying here!

The inn offers a buffet or Asian breakfast. This was the best guest house I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka! If you’re coming to Nuwara Eliya choose Green Villa, you won’t be disappointed! The family here made my stay special, they were so incredibly kind and interesting to talk to. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed, the dinner I had the first night was so affordable and delicious, as was the breakfast the next day. They were constantly bringing us tea and small Sri Lankan treats too. What I really enjoyed was the family liked hanging out with the guests, they had a birthday while I was there and they shared their cake and celebrations with us. If you want to, you can help in the kitchen and learn to cook some Sri Lankan dishes too! The rooms were simple but very comfortable and clean, the Wi-Fi worked great and the shower was hot. Amazing place!

Easy to reach from the city, nice knowledgable host, comfortable room, nice warm tea, nice company with other hikers. Notify the host if you plan on arriving early as he's also a guide and might be busy in the mornings. He made sure we could keep our backpacks at the property by calling his friend to unlock the house gate so we can explore the city, but it would have been nice on our part to inform him beforehand. The indian restaurants in this city is exceptional, so don't miss out!

Adam's Peak is 27 km from Rock View Rest Hatton. The nearest airport is Bandaranaike International Airport, 119 km from the inn. The pictures don’t do the surroundings justice. The house(s) has a ramshackle charm and the setting is top notch, especially for the price. I went swimming in the river my first day and laid out on the rocks. you can hear the waterfalls from your room while you sleep. Ravi is an honest and welcoming host who really makes you’re going to have a good stay. He also has top notch recommendations and thankfully convinced me to stay more than just one night as my only plan in hatton was to hike Adam’s peak. But the Gartmore waterfall and swimming there was a highlight of my trip.
