I had a long chat with a most charming woman(58) (did not get her name) in the reception. A former teacher. It is nice when staff takes the time to talk with you about the hotel and other things. The Red Lion is a Grade 2 listed stone-built coaching inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds. We had an amazing time at the Red Lion Inn. Our stay was wonderful! The inn is extremely cozy! They had little details that made the arrival wonderful (radio with some classical music playing, nice lightning) The decor/art on the inn and the rooms was beautiful. The bath was very big which was a plus for being even more comfortable! Breakfast and food were delicious. The staff was super nice an attentive! Doggies allowed which made the place even better (we didn’t have one but still it was nice to see them around)

This 400 year old inn is located within just minutes walk from Warwick Castle and the historic Town Centre. Each of our bedrooms have recently been fully refurbished to offer modern facilities in historic surroundings. Staff were fantastic! They kept the kitchen open so we could eat when we arrived late. Very friendly throughout.

Great room, comfy bed, great shower. Rose and crown is a superb pub, friendly, welcoming and a great selection of draught ales. Have stayed many times and will come back again.

The house keeping ladies were very kind and helpful, particularly Annie who kept an eye on me. The bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows and crisp linen. The room was exceptionally clean, exactly as the photos.

The property is non-smoking and is situated 11 km from FarGo Village. Breakfast on a Sunday was served too late and had to leave early. Evening meal was good. Real milk in the fridge for tea etc.
