The food was delicious and plenty of it. We had dinner in the evening and breakfast. Really good quality ingredients, the coffee was lovely. The room was beautiful, we had a balcony that over looked the garden. We will stay there again.
Winchester

There is plenty to discover right on our doorstep, or simply stay at The Mill and explore the al fresco dining terraces and gorgeous riverside gardens. The premium inn serves locally sourced produce on its modern British menu and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar. Breakfast was great and the staff were really helpful. Sydney was exceptional, going to great lengths to ensure guests could see the England v USA game on the big screen.

Located 1.6 miles from Bombay Sapphire Distillery in Overton, The White Hart is a premium village inn serving locally sourced produce on its modern British menu and a selection of ales, fine wines, and seasonal cocktails in the bar. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking is available on site. Fabulous room, we had small double but it wasn't small at all. Food is really good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend unreservedly.

We particularly enjoyed the combination of busy historic inn/restaurant with boutique hotel rooms in a central location opposite the cathedral. The vibe was informal and relaxed but, at the same time, busy. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic.
The Crown is a lovely historic inn with low beamed ceilings and it was a perfect venue for a lovely reunion lunch with friends. The service was excellent.

it is a lovely, historic Inn. Proper “inn” style where you arrive into the bar and the rooms are at the back. The food is excellent - great British basics like steak and ale pie! The staff are really friendly and kind. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and the location is the heart of historic Hampshire with beautiful countryside and many walks and attractions around. I would definitely recommend the Winchfield Inn as a cosy, down to earth base for exploring the area. it’s very good value for money.
The breakfast was very good value and included in the reasonable accommodation price. The Inn is very old and rustic which we like. We had an old fashioned bedroom which had a mottled assortment of furniture, lovely big comfy bed and was so peaceful we slept amazingly well. The bathroom was old fashioned and creaky but serviceable and the shower over the bath was actually the best we had on our whole trip including some expensive hotels.

A beautiful guest house by the water. We loved the Mayflower, the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fabulous, and our room was large and overlooking the water. It's within walking distance of the town and free parking is rare these days so much appreciated. We had dinner here one night and the sticky date pudding is one of the best we've ever had! Highly recommend.
